Troy and Sarah spent most of the hour they had together attached at the lips. It was only the last few minutes that they decided to walk the length of the beach. Sarah felt that it would be to awkward if their friends walked up and Troy's tongue was in her mouth.

For once the conversation between them flowed easy. Without the Kelsey conversation looming over them Sarah did not feel it was necessary to dance around anything.

"Roger just told me he still hasn't heard back from SXU." Sarah was saying, to which Troy gave her a funny look, "Roger, Claire and I all applied at SXU and Claire and I have already been accepted."

"I really don't follow where you are going with this, Beautiful." Troy questioned. He had his arms wrapped around her and was slowly trailing kisses down her neck. They had momentarily stopped walking and he was trying to get back to the make out session they had just had.

Giggling as he grazed her tickle spot with his teeth she apologized, "Sorry, I should explain." Troy groaned in frustration, but Sarah took it as encouragement, "Claire's parents have offered to buy us a house near campus, to keep costs low for us while we are focusing on our studies." Troy was now kissing along her jaw, pretending to be interested in her story, "They have really taken me in. They want to give Claire and I the opportunity to discover who we are as young adults, while still getting the best grades possible."

"That's generous." Troy mumbled. He pulled back, noticing that Sarah was waiting for him to say something else, "Why wouldn't they just do that for Claire? And I don't see how Roger fits into all this."

"Oh, they were going to do that for Claire, in fact her schooling is already paid for. But they are concerned about how much I am going to have to pay off after school with all my student loans." Sarah beamed. She could talk about school for hours, "As for Roger, Claire offered to make sure he had a room in the house if he gets in to. But her parents don't want to buy a house with the extra space if its not needed."

Troy nodded about to bring his face down on hers again, when he spotted Roger walking back towards them, Troy groaned. "I'm going for a swim. Care to join me Beautiful?"

"I'd rather not." Sarah said clenching her teeth in uncertainty. "It's so cold."

Troy started to drag her towards the water, letting go of her hand to test the water himself.

"Its actually not that bad." He smirked, trying to hide the fact he was shivering.

"And your face says otherwise." Sarah laughed, shaking her head, reaffirming her no.

"Just test it out, Beautiful. Take your shoes off and come walk with me." He pouted.

Sarah did as she was told. Slowly taking her shoes off, hoping that if she went slow enough their friends would arrive and she would not have to touch the lake at all. Besides, who wanted to get wet before going out to lunch. Sarah looked around briefly, not seeing anyone. Sighing she walked out and joined Troy in the lake.

"Its freaking cold, you liar!" She yelled the moment her toes touched the water.

"Don't be such a chicken." Troy chuckled. "Don't worry I won't make you actually swim. Just your feet."

Before Sarah could say anything, she was lifted in the air up on someone's shoulders. She was about to yell at Troy but then noticed that he was getting further away. "Ah!" She yelled, "Let me go!" She pounded her fists into the back of whomever was carrying her. The person chuckled, and Sarah knew instantly who it was. "What the hell Rog!" Was all she could say before she was thrown into the water.
