Two days ago I was sad. There was no specific reason for me to be sad. But I felt it, it felt as if the weight of every person's suffering in the whole world was pushing down on me. I felt for the people in the squatters without food. I felt for the people who were cold. I felt for the people who had to leave their families behind at home to serve the country with essential work. I realised once again how unfair life is, and how lucky I got.
Really, your circumstances as a young person all depends on the luck which caused you to be born into either a privileged or unprivileged family. Up until you can take care of yourself and make your own earnings, there is really little that one can do about one's circumstances. And that made me sad.
