Lisa woke up on an empty bed. Chaeng must have left to do her thing. Oh well, might as well get up now. She stood up and realized she had a massive headache and her body was hurting from all the dancing she did last night.

"Ow! Ow!" She groaned as she was getting to the mini fridge to drink some cold water.

Last night was...heh..pretty wild. With the dancing, and the drinking and the - OH MY JISOOS I TEXTED IRENE! Lisa covered her mouth realizing what happened. She sat on the edge of the couch, not wanting to move at all.

Oh no. No. No. Why? Why did I do that? Agh.. On top of that, my head is killing me. Welp, better go look at my phone and breathe the disappointment in. I mean, Lisa, really? Texting early in the morning while drunk... And it wasn't even like a cool question. Now she'll think I'm this annoying clingy fan who can't have boundaries and can't be a normal friend. Yeah. Of course she responded. Let me read this real quick - Lisa's brain froze as she was reading Irene's text message. Her mind was racing: No. No. She didn't. No. She can't be this nice. This isn't happening.

Lisa breathed out a sigh of relief as she was reading Irene's message over and over again. Her grin was getting bigger by the second. No, seriously! She can't be this nice to me! I know we're friends but come on!... Oh you Irene Bae, you made me happy once again! Lisa was squealing internally from the excitement. She read the message out loud as if she couldn't believe it. The message read:

Bahahaha... Well, yes!... Yeah! When I really think about it, I guess I do pull out the choreography! I hope you had a great night out, I see that you've texted me early this morning hahaha ;) I hope you're still enjoying Seoul ! :*

Lisa's mind was racing all over again. A winky face and a kiss emoji? No, that's it, game over. I'm setting this phone on fire and throwing it out of the window. It's too much to handle.

She was giggling like she never giggled before in her life. Okay, gotta keep it cool and reply in a cool manner. She wrote:

Seoul is great! My friend and I went out in the club last night! We heard RUSSIAN ROULETTE and that's how we got to that question I asked you before :)

She wrote another one:

We tried to do the choreography but we were too drunk and too clumsy to finish it :'D

Lisa was feeling confident about those two messages - Yeah, it sounds friendly and normal enough. I think we can call this a successful conversation! But I really have to get off my phone now. All this positive energy I'm getting from her text messages... It's too much! Too much I tell you! She giggled and left the phone on the bed while ordering room service to eat something.

When the food got to her room, she sat down and turned on the TV. She grabbed her phone to text Jennie. I will try to make it nice. She thought before texting. Her stomach was feeling sick because she was nervous, but she found some confidence to send Jennie a simple text:

Hey babe! I hope you had a great night last night. It was Saturday, so I'm guessing you went out :D Hope you had a great time! I love you and I miss you! Also, I'm coming home tomorrow night, I can't wait to see you!

After a couple of minutes, Jennie replied:

Hey! Can you text me tomorrow when I have to pick you up from the airport?

Sure! I will do that tomorrow, don't worry about a thing :) Did you have a great night?
Lisa asked.

It was alright, a bit of clubbing, a bit of hanging out in my colleague's apartment, nothing special.

Colleague's apartment?
Lisa wrote back.

She then though to herself - I mean, it's okay if she slept there... it's just that, she never sleeps over at anyone's place. I mean she does, but rarely. Very rarely. Like almost never. She always says that she doesn't want her dog to be alone for too long or that she doesn't like to sleep in other people's beds and couches because they make her feel "itchy". I don't mind she slept there... IF she slept there! I mean, she just wrote "hanging out" so who knows? It's still a bit odd for her, but yeah, nothing to worry about.

Jennie soon responded.

Yeah, nothing happened, I just slept on the couch. Really Lisa? You're always so paranoid!

Lisa was sad again, but she was determined to make this right, so she wrote:

No! No, no, no babe! Heh! It's just that it's odd that you were sleeping there, nothing else.

Jennie replied within seconds.

What do you mean "odd"? It's my life, I'll do whatever I want, Lisa!

Lisa replied, tears already building up in her eyes:

I just meant that you don't like to leave your dog for too long. And you don't usually do that because you told me you found other people's beds or couches itchy. That is all babe, I swear! :)

Jennie didn't respond for a while then. Lisa was thinking that Jennie might have realized what Lisa meant and that now it will be a better situation. Lisa's phone buzzed and picked it up to read Jennie's reply:

Oh! Okay... Whatever. Text me when I have to pick you up.

I will! :) I love you babe, and I miss you, can't wait to see you! Lisa replied, heavily sighing.

She hoped that Jennie would reply again.

Jennie has read your text message.

A minute passed. Two. Five. Ten. No response. She only read the text message and she didn't write back. Lisa was sitting on the floor between the couch and the TV. She was broken. She started to cry silently.

I was just trying to be nice. I was just trying to find out why she slept there because I thought it was odd.  I know she wouldn't cheat on me. I just... Why? why does she make me feel like this?

A lot of tears streamed down Lisa's face as she was lying on the floor with her head between her knees.

No! I am worth it! I will fight for this! I will fight for us! When I get back, we're gonna talk, we're gonna yell at each other, we're gonna fight... But we're not gonna give up! She is still the woman I fell for and I will give it my all. She deserves happiness. She gave me three years of it. She was, and still is, the best thing that has ever happened to me. I will show her that I love her and we will survive this.

After the pep-talk she gave herself, Lisa started to feel better. She rose up from the floor and turned on some music. She started to dance, imagining Jennie was holding her from behind.

I can't wait to come back to Thailand! I'll treat her so nice, she'll be melting on the floor! I'll take her out, I'll treat her nicely, nicer than I ever did before! Yeah! And we'll dance like dorks in the club! Yeah! that's what we need! We need to do more stuff together... Oh Jennie, you better watch out! The best girlfriend ever is sailing your way, and she's coming with the best attitude in the world!

Lisa felt happier. After a while she picked up her phone and saw a message from Irene. She grinned immediately. Irene wrote:

Hahaha! I'm glad that you at least tried to do the choreography! :) And I'm happy that you liked Seoul so far! I hope you come visit as soon as possible! Also, I posted some of your photos online, thank you so much for taking them! :*

Lisa rushed to check Irene's social media before she answers anything. And there they were. A lot of photos that Lisa took of Irene and the concert. Under one of the photos, there was a caption:

Can't wait for another concert with my Irenators! Thanks to @LisaBanBan for the photos! <3

Lisa's eyes widened as she read the caption. No, wait... But this means- She checked her own account and saw that a lot of people followed her own Instagram and Twitter due to Irene's caption. Sweet! Recognition, exposure and a friendly message all wrapped un into one caption. Oh Irene, you're so great! She grinned and went back to the text message and wrote:

Wow! I just saw it! Thanks for mentioning me, a lot of people followed me! And it means a lot to me that the word spreads about my work! Thank you so much! and then she sent a sticker of a cat blowing a kiss to another cat.

Irene was getting ready to head out and do the things that were supposed to be done - she had a busy schedule that day. She picked up her phone and read Lisa's last message with a smile. She wrote back:

Yeah! People should know about your work! You really are great! and also replied with a cat-related sticker. Irene then mused: Oh those cat stickers!... Lisa's so funny and cute. And talented! She should really travel the world and do her photography. I would definitely enjoy seeing more of her work.

Lisa was smiling - Another cat sticker! So adorable! And she's so polite and kind towards me. I'm not saying I'm melting, but I am. She treats me respectfully and she's really kind.

She put her phone away and returned to watching the movie that was on TV. She felt too tired to go out and explore Seoul. Plus, this means that I have to come back to see more. Hehe, ice cream! She contemplated while eating her ice cream cup.

Later that day, Chaeyoung came back exhausted.

"Oh Chaengie! Here, come here. Let me take off your shoes and get you some food and water." Lisa was taking care of Chaeyoung while Chaeyoung was smiling tiredly.

"I love you Lisa, thank you so much!"

"We don't have to talk now, you can just get some rest and then we'll talk later about your day!"

"You are perfect!" Chaeng smiled when she said that and sat next to Lisa.

After a while, Chaeyoung as feeling better so they discussed Chaeng's day in full detail. Chaeyoung can be quite the storyteller and she could make an ordinary day seem really fun. Lisa was laughing at Chaeyoung's little anecdotes and they were both enjoying the evening.

"Oh Lisa, okay...and you? How was your day?"

"Oh nothing, I was too hungover to do anything. I just sat here and watched some movies... Ate ice cream.. Nothing much." Lisa didn't want to talk  about the second emotional roller coaster she had since they came to Korea so she tried to avoid going into too much detail.

"Jennie's okay?"

"Yeah, yeah! She's gonna pick me up tomorrow at the airport!"

"That's great!"

"Yeah, I can't wait to see her!"

"Oh I bet you can't." Chaeyoung smiled while she was reading Lisa's body language. She figured that Lisa didn't want to talk about Jennie this time, so she didn't want to ask too many questions. She smiled at Lisa, hoping that Lisa might want to talk about herself, but she wsn't going to push her.

Lisa's body was stiff. You could see that she wanted to talk about Jennie, but she wasn't ready.

If she's not ready, I'm not going to push her. Chaeyoung thought.

"So...another movie? More ice cream?" Chaeyoung then changed the subject which made Lisa visibly happier and less tense.

"Yeah! Let's party hard inside this time!"

"Woo-woo!" Chaeyoung celebrated.

I love Chaeng! And I'm going to tell her whatever happens between Jennie and me. But for now... I need some peace. It's so great that she can read my body language and that she knows when I don't want to talk about certain topics... Lisa's chain of thoughts were interrupted by Chaeyoung:

"Oh and uh... Lisa...when were you going to tell me that you're the new celebrity photographer in Korea?" Chaeng grinned.

"Oh, you mean, you saw the photos and the caption?"

"Yup! I'm so proud of you! This is such great news!" Chaeyoung then hugged Lisa and Lisa told her everything and showed her the texts between herself and Irene. They were both fangirling hard. Later, they went to sleep, tired from all the events that happened that day.

I can't wait to see Jennie and to kiss her. What else am I thankful for? Oh, I love Chaeng, she's such a great friend. And... yeah, this whole thing with Irene is getting kinda, sorta, a little bit crazy... but, yeah, I'm glad I'm talking to her and that we're "texting buddies" now... Oh... I can't wait to get back to Thailand, these couple of days have been so overwhelming, I don't know if my body and mind can take it anymore. Lisa smiled, hugged her pillow and fell asleep.
