Chapter 64 - Lisa's Birthday

Lisa woke up to the buzzing of her phone. She immediately rubbed her eyes to see if it was Irene and she was relieved when she saw it was her. In the message were all the details about the show and how to get there. Lisa then thanked Irene and wished her a relaxing time before her next show which was going to be in Seoul on the 27th.

I can't believe it, only two more days before her show... Oh, it's going to be a blast! Lisa was excited.

Irene was exhausted since she was performing two days in a row, but she felt very happy. I'm glad that I have a couple of days now to rest before the next show, I really  need to build up my energy before Seoul... Physical and emotional energy. Wait, why emotional? For what am I preparing? I swear, this brain of mine just keeps leaving me breadcrumbs with no context... Irene contemplated while lying on her bed on the bus. She then gave up and turned on the TV. Might as well watch some TV now... Heh, cartoons! Oh that reminds me, Lisa! I'm so glad she's going to see Twice... I wonder why Nayeon was so insistent on meeting her... Hehe silly Nayeon. I hope she's doing okay though.

Lisa spent another buzzing day around Seoul, trying to soak in as much as possible. After a long day of more exploring, Lisa got back to her hotel room and received a call from Chaeng. The duo talked about the event tomorrow, meeting Twice and going to karaoke. After that, the conversation continued for a couple of minutes before the tired duo decided to go to sleep.

The following day, Lisa was eagerly waiting in front of Chaeyoung's work building with some food. After handing over the food to Chaeyoung the duo went to Chaeng's apartment so that Cheyoung could get ready for the night out. 

On the apartment, the duo discussed how long would Twice perform.  Lisa answered it may be 3-5 songs. They also discussed what songs will Twice perform.

"I have no idea... Heart Shaker  has been really popular these days, so maybe that?"

"Oh, I love that song!"

"Me too! I sometimes sing it randomly at work and people just stare hahaha!"

"Ah yes, the magical voice of Park Chaeyoung!"

"Shut up!"

"You know you're good!"

"Yeah, like.... Whatever!"

Lisa smirked at Chaeyoung's reaction. She knows she's good. And it's funny because whenever she's good at anything else, she doesn't mind when I compliment her... But singing is a whole other "issue" I guess hehe...

When Chaeyoung was done, the two headed towards the studio where the performance was abot to be held.

"Lisa Manoban plus one, I should be on the list." Lisa spoke politely to the bodyguards in front of the studio. They checked the name and let the duo in.

"Wow, "Lisa Manoban plus one", that sounded so fancy!" Chaeyoung spoke when they got in.

"Hahaha, I know right? I mean, I wouldn't mind getting into places like that more often."

"Well, apparently, Irene wouldn't mind it either." Chaeyoung smirked an Lisa gently pushed her shoulder while laughing. 

Lisa and Chaeyoung found two available seats and waited for the show to start. The announcers came out, presenting the nature of the event - it was of course about Twice and about how they are going to promote their songs while also announcing a small tour that would be held soon. The footage of this performance would be used in promotional material for the tour.

"Oh, I'm so excited." Lisa whispered to Chaeyoung as soon as the announcement was over and as soon as they realized Twice was getting on stage.

"Me too, look! They're coming!" Chaeyoung whispered back excitedly.
