Chapter 75 - About Last Night

"Mm..." Lisa was sleeping but she murmured out quietly as she felt a light touch on her forehead. She didn't know if the touch happened or if she dreamt it because it happened so fast and she wasn't fully awake yet.

Ahhh.... What a nice evening I had last night... The concert was great, meeting Twice was awesome, hanging out with Irene was OH MY! I SLEPT WITH IRENE, ALSO KNOWN AS BAE JOOHYUN LAST NIGHT! Lisa's eyes widened upon that realization.

How was... You know what, my brain's too scrambled to answer any question right now. How did it happen? We didn't drink so I know there was no alcohol involved... Oh wow... It just happened!

Lisa rose from Irene's bed and sat up with her eyes wide open. Her whole body was aching and she felt sore. Oh wow... A really wild night. She mused while also being in pain. Probably the sweetest pain of my life but still... We... We really went for it, didn't we?

She then turned her head to her left and realized Irene wasn't lying there.

Huh... Where is Irene? Did she leave already? What happened? Am I... Was I a one-night stand? I mean... We didn't talk or anything... We just kind of collapsed on the bed and... Oh... I really feel bad now. Lisa felt bad because she thought she was being used again.

I mean... What do I even know? It's her apartment... I can't lock the door after I leave... Wait, that can only mean one thing! She didn't leave! She's probably out there somewhere, maybe in the bathroom or the kitchen... Yeah, she probably got up because she wasn't sleeping anymore and she wanted to give me some space so that I could sleep... That's... That's actually kinda sweet. Lisa concluded with a soft smile on her face.

I was so dumb to even think that she would use me. She never, not even once, gave me a reason to think that. Stupid Lisa! - She thought to herself as her eyes were getting a bit wet. She doesn't deserve to have someone who thinks badly of her... I feel so sorry now, I feel as if I should apologize to her.

She then tried to calm herself down a bit - Lisa, please don't hurt yourself this way/ You've been hurt before so now you're cautious about these types of things. Don't be so hard on yourself. It's okay to trust people and it's okay to be cautious. You are not the bad guy as long as you don't judge beforehand.

That small pep-talk that Lisa gave herself calmed her down.

Should I go outside? Should I say "hi"? I don't know the protocol... Maybe I was snoring and she went into the living room or somewhere so that she could continue with her sleep and so that she could give me some space as well... That would be sweet of her and that's probably what she did because her behavior so far would indicate that she really is too freaking sweet! Another smile appeared on Lisa's face. See Lisa, positive thinking! Yay! She encouraged herself one more time.

So... If she's sleeping over there, I probably shouldn't bother her... But, what should I do? How does one approach this situation? Oh... This is so hard.

She then heard singing from outside of the room. It was Irene, happily singing Twice's song What is Love? It wasn't loud. The way she sang it was soft and quiet and very soothing. Lisa couldn't see Irene, but she imagined she was dancing as she was singing because she could hear small footsteps every now and then.

She really has small feet, and it's adorable to imagine her dance to that song... And that song... I mean, she should definitely do a live collaboration with Twice someday, it would be perfect... Like a quiet acoustic version or something! Lisa's heart was melting  upon hearing Irene sing so softly and imagining that whole scenario.

She soon snapped out of it.

Okay... Last night... Happened. What does it mean? What do I feel? How do I feel? Where does this whole thing leave us? And now that I know that she's awake, should I go outside? I want to do that... But I also want to know what I'm feeling before I do anything.
