I didn't even want to consider the possibility of the mercury eyed female getting sent to the hospital because of a petty order from the commander. Genda, apparently noticed that I wasn't my usual self and that I was being sort of... aloof at the moment.
"Kido, is something wrong-" Before he could finish his question, my phone started ringing. I checked the caller ID and my breath hitched, my palms getting all sweaty and I could swear that my stomach dropped. I had gotten all jittery and I haven't even answered yet.
"It's nothing, nevermind. Again!" I commanded before walking away for some privacy. Finally answering the call that had made me lose my composure.
