"SengokuIgajima keeps attacking fiercely!"
Ever since Kirigakure shot their winning point, my anxieties began shining through. I wasn't usually this out of place during a match but for some reason I was today.
Maybe it was the insecurities about not being good enough to be included in the hissatsus of the secret book. Or maybe it was fatigue from the extensive training I made my body go through. Perhaps the sudden confession of Kazemaru rattled me more than I thought it did.
As I stood there, deep in thought. I hadn't heard Endo's cries to get out of the way until I heard the opponent shout out. "Bunshin Shoot!" The ball came speeding at me with an almost identical glow to Kirigakure's Tsuchidaruma.
I snapped out of it and gathered light in my hands and slammed it back on the ground, "Aurora Curtain!" The wall was made out of haste so it was no surprise the ball broke through. But it was weak enough that Endo could catch it barehandedly without letting them score.
He flinched and fell onto his knees. Several pairs of optics looked at the captain in shock. Including a set of crimson ones planted amongst the crowd.
All this time I've been worrying whether we had a chance or not, Endo was supporting us by not letting Sengoku get more points...
