As promised, Raimon Eleven will take on Teikoku despite the earlier incidents. After Kageyama was escorted away in a police car, we resumed our positions on the field. Me being on both the defense and offense.
"The Football Frontier district finals!! Will the winner be Teikoku, or will it be Raimon?!"
Kakuma's shrill announcer voice ripped through everyone's ears present in the stadium. A tense and silent aura enveloped both teams as we anxiously waited for the referee to blow the whistle. As soon as it did, Shuuya didn't waste any time in charging towards the enemy territory.
"The match starts! Well then, the first to attack is Raimon!"
Shuuya ran towards Teikoku but two of the opposite team players came rushing towards him, determined to steal the ball.
"Oono and Narukami go on the defense!"
Swiftly dodging the attempted steal, the flame striker called out to Someoka to perform their combined hissatsu.
"Dragon Tornado!!"
Only to be ultimately blocked by Genda's Power Shield. I wasn't surprised, Teikoku wasn't champions for nothing but it was clear to see the shock written all over Shuuya's and Someoka's faces.
