Chapter 9

We followed Bella, she walked to her house. Outside was Cameron and two kids, a girl and a boy many the age of 3 and 5. The girl was the youngest so that makes the boy the oldest. Cameron was pushing them both on the swings, using one arm to push the boy and the other to push the girl. Bella walked over to him, Cameron stopped what he was doing and ran over to Bella and hugged her then picked her up and spun her around. “I missed you baby.” he said to her as he put her down. Bella said “I missed you too love.” They kissed and at the moment you hear the little boy go “ew that’s yicky.” They both laughed. Bella said “Ryan, get over here and hug your mother.” Mother? “she a mom?” I said to Shawn. Shawn nodded. Ryan stopped his swing and ran over to Bella and hugged her. “How did Daddy treat you?” Bella asked him. Ryan then said “Good but I’m glad you’re home, dad stinks at cooking.” Cameron looked at Ryan and said “I’m not that bad.” Ryan looked at Bella and said “yeah he is.” Bella laughed. She walked over to the little girl and who sat in her swing quietly. “Hi, Sarah.” “Hi mommy.” “need help getting down?” Sarah nodded. Bella picked her up and hugged her. Sarah squirmed out of Bella’s arm. Bella put her down. Ryan walked over and said “I’m going to get you Sarah.” Sarah screamed and ran away, Ryan chased after her. While the kids ran after each other, Shawn and I listen to Cameron and Bella were talking about. “So, everything was fine when I left for those three days?” Bella asked. Cameron nodded and said “Yup. Had it under control. How did the job go? Are they gone?” Bella nodded “Gone for good.  Now we don’t have to worry.” “good.” Cameron said. I looked at Shawn and said “Bella told Cameron she was going to kill three guys?” Shawn then said “Yup. I’ll tell you why later.” I shrugged and said okay.

Bella and Cameron watch the kids ran around and Sarah fell so all 4 went inside. We followed them inside.  Ryan turned on the tv and Bella got the aid kit as Cameron held Sarah to comfort her. Bella put a bandaid on Sarah knee and she was all better. Sarah ran off into her room to play with her toys. Cameron asked “What’s for dinner babe?” “I have something in mind.” Bella said. She walked over to the kitchen and started to boil some water. Cameron then said “Let me guess your famous mac and cheese? not the box kind.” Bella nodded. Cameron walked over to her and wrapped his around her and they cooked together. It was pretty cute. It was like one of those movie things. You know stuff that usually doesn’t happen in real life. When the cooking was done, everyone sat at the table and ate. Cameron sat at one end, Bella sat at the other, Ryan was on the right side and that leaves Sarah on the left side. Bella helped Sarah with her food. “After dinner, you guys have an hour to stay up, then it is bedtime.” Bella said. “will you and daddy tell us a bedtime story?” Ryan asked. Sarah said “yeah!” Cameron and Bella nodded. “of course” they said together. Ryan and Sarah cheered. They ate their dinner and when they were done they all watched tv. Cameron wrapped his arm around Bella and held her as they sat on the couch. Sarah and Ryan sat on the floor, who knows why. “looks like a real family you don’t see this too often.” I said to Shawn. “you’ll have this one day.” He said back to me.

An hour went by, there was a lot of talking then watching tv. Bella apparently  missed a lot when she was gone and Ryan couldn’t wait to tell her. When it was time for them to go to bed everyone walked into Ryan and Sarah’s room. Bella sat with Ryan and Cameron sat with Sarah and they both began to tell a story together. The kids loved it they were laughing. I smiled at it. Slowly they would look like they were getting tired. Sarah knocked out first so Bella and Cameron cut the story a little shorter. They kissed their kids goodnight and together they walked out into the living room and sat on the couch. Bella sat on Cameron’s lap and gave him a kissed and said “I miss being here those three days, but most of all I misses you.” Cameron kissed Bella and said “The house wasn’t the same without you, the kids missed you and I missed you. Our bed was so empty. Promise not to leave again for that long?” “promise.” They kisses each other again. They talked about the things that happened. Cameron asked about how she ended up killing each of the guys which I thought was weird but whatever. Bella explained exactly how she did it and Cameron seem shocked they she pulled it off without wimping out. After catching up for a while Bella and Cameron cuddle and watched a movie for the rest of the night, when it hit midnight they went into there bed and kissed each other goodnight, and shut off the light. “I feel like a stocker Shawn. Are we done?” “Yes, we can start heading back now and you can get some answers.”
