"Ash!" I exclaim as Ashton scoops me up and tosses me over his shoulders. "Put me down!" He laughs and takes off , tighten his grip before. "Ashton" I exclaim again laughing along with him.
"I'm not putting you down!" He states between his laughter, now in a full sprint. I can't help but laugh, I usual hate behind upside down but now it feels..... Right. I can see my house behind us and I automatically know where we're going ; the woods.
"Ash! Please no!" I plead hitting his back. "Please!" I feel Ashton's pace slow as I'm removed from his shoulder. I feel my bum hit the wet floor of the woods and automatically panic.
"Delilah, calm down. Breath." Ashton whispers into my ear, causing me to jump into his chest, latching my arms around his neck. "Please stop crying." He pleads as a small stream falls onto his shoulder. I want to open my eyes but I can't. I feel so weak. "Delilah, please don't cry. I-I'm sorry." I sniffle.
"It's okay." Ashton lets out a sigh, as he scoops me up.
"I thought maybe since I was there it be okay." He explains to me. "I thought m-maybe you'd feel safe." I hear him sniffle. "I just -"
"Ashton, it's okay." I state as I slowly open my eyes. "But please, don't ever do that again." He nods and hugs me tighter.
"I'm so sorry Delilah, I won't do it again. I promise."
