"You have a special gift Darling. You have so much power, and yet they hold you back." Corrupted gracefully circled around Feather, like a wolf circling its prey. "They treat you like a young child, and prevent you from reaching your full potential!" They stopped in front of Feather and stared into his eyes. "You could do so much more without them holding you back."

"What do you mean, holding me back?"

"Exactly what I said my dear, your "Friends"... Watchers... They are holding you back from your full magical potential. But I know how you can prove to them that you can control your power."

Feather stiffened, his brilliant purple wings bristling.

"How."

"Bring down the lamps."
