Chris is ICONIC. You can't have Total Drama without Chris motherfucking Mclean.
TDI: Love Chris here. He was still a humaneish person. He hated the contestants, but he didn't endanger them TOO much. I should have more to say, considering the fa t that he's the host, but I can't really think of anything else to say other than that.
TDA: Same as TDI tbh. He was still really fun to watch (not saying he becomes bad, but I'll explain what I mean by that in a moment). It was kind of sweet to watch how scared he was in "Masters of Disasters." I also liked how sad he got when he thought Chef was leaving. It showed that he has a heart.
TDWT: Chris was still great in this season, but his humanity started to fade. Making teens jump out of an airplane is fucking insane. Not just making them jump, but sometimes pushing them?! Yikes. That doesn't bother me though, it just shows his evolution. No complaints, Chris was still great.
TDROTI, TDAS, and TDPI: I could separate these, but I have the same things to say about these seasons. Chris was fucking insane. The challenges became even more deadly before. He lost emotions. He became a psychopath. The problem with that isn't Chris though. It's the tone of the show. The more insane Chris got, the more it felt like Total Drama was becoming more of a kids show than a show for teens. It's no secret that these seasons are easily the least popular among fans. People don't hate on Revenge of the Island as much, but it doesn't live up to the first three seasons (some people like it more than Action, but I prefer Action and this book is about MY opinions). Ridonculous Race was also better than these seasons because they made jokes targeted for teens to find funny. I guess I'm getting off topic. I'm meant to be talking about Chris, not the show as a whole. Opinion: Chris' change into a psychopath was not a change that I liked, but I still love Chris.
If Ridonculous Race season 2 ever happens, CHRIS AND CHEF NEED TO BE A TEAM
