When I was a kid and saw Total Drama on TV, Duncan was my favorite because he was cool and had a mohawk. As I got older and watched, I loved Duncan in TDI and TDA, but he started getting worse in TDWT.
TDI: Duncan was great this season. His relationship with Courtney was awesome, his friendships with Geoff and DJ were great, he was just always fun to watch. Duncan never had a dull moment this season. No complaints here, I love TDI Duncan.
TDA: I also love TDA Duncan. He definitely felt like more of a "main character" this season, and that makes sense because he made it to the end. Unlike Beth, he definitely deserved to make it to the finale. He did very well in the previous season, so it was nice to see him make it even further.
TDWT: Duncan was not great this season. He quit in the first episode, and then came back after skipping half the season (just saying, Team Amazon should not have won the challenge because they found him. Noah and Owen actually did what they were supposed to do, but Noah was eliminated. Total bullshit). Not just that, but then he cheated on Courtney, which is totally fucking despicable. I don't like him and Gwen together, so I didn't really like him this season.
TDAS: I'm not sure whether I prefer him as a hero or a villain. I always thought of him as an antihero, so both were kind of weird. I guess it made more sense to see him on a team with people like Alejandro and Scott than it did for him to be with people like Mike and Zoey though. He was kind of a dick to Gwen because he constantly wanted Courtney's attention. Bro, you cheated on her but now you expect her attention? Fuck off dude. You can't have your cake and eat it too. I'm so glad Gwen dumped his ass.
