"You're rather early today, Shinazugawa-san," Shinobu commented as she noticed Sanemi was leaving the headquarters with a slight scowl on his face. A little surprised to see that the Wind Hashira had toned down quite a bit.
"Is it because [name]-sama has requested those meat buns?" Kanae asked in a gentle tone and Sanemi stopped and slowly nodded his head in response, causing Kanae and Shinobu to smile at how gentle the Wind Hashira had become for [name].
They then watched with a smile on their faces as Sanemi started to head for the entrance of the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters, heading down the path they had taken the day before. His pale purple eyes then settled on the same man who was selling the same meat buns that [name] wanted, and he sighed in relief.
He was hoping that there wouldn't be too much of a hassle, given how the vendor would often move from places to places if business wasn't that good. He then walked up to the man, whose eyes lit up upon realizing that Sanemi had arrived.
"How many would you like today?" he asked, and Sanemi continued to stare at the buns that were being steamed. The man raised an eyebrow in response and soon waved a hand in front of the Wind Hashira.
"Do you have anything sweet?" he asked, and the man chuckled.
"I tried making this, not sure if it's any good. It's filled with red bean," the man explained and handed one of the red bean buns for Sanemi to try. Sanemi then bit into the piping hot bun, and his pale purple eyes widened a little.
"I'll have 6 of the meat buns, and 3 of the red bean buns," he ordered, and rummaged through his pocket and handed some money to the man who accepted it with gratitude. The man started to pack the buns into different paper bags, and eventually, he added in extra.
"It's for that girl, isn't it? I remember all of you trying to buy some meat bun for that girl," the man spoke out, and Sanemi had on a soft smile then as he remembered how [name] had acted when she ate the meat bun for the first time.
"Yeah," he mumbled out, and Sanemi soon took his leave then.
"Make sure she eats it hot!" the man yelled out and Sanemi waved his hand as he continued to walk away from the vendor, heading back to the headquarters of the Demon Slayer Corps. A soft smile plastered on his face then as he walked past the Hashiras who had gathered to see how the first day of Sanemi being [name]'s bodyguard will be like.
"Well, he is definitely all smiley right now," Sabito commented, and the Hashiras could only watch as Sanemi held the bag filled with buns carefully as he proceeded to start jogging up the path that led to the Ubushiyaki Estate.
"[name], you're rather excited," Oyakata-sama spoke out as he sat beside his eldest daughter on the patio of where the gardens were as they watched her younger siblings enjoying themselves in the gardens, playing.
"I'm a little excited," [name] whispered out as she stared blankly towards the front as she fiddled with her fingers, which Oyakata-sama could only chuckle softly then as he gently patted her on the hand. He had woken up to [name] shaking him, and he couldn't help but chuckle then at how excited his eldest daughter was.
"A step more for her to feel like a normal girl," he thought to himself as he then watched as a certain Wind Hashira made his presence known. He then walked up to Oyakata-sama and [name], getting down on a knee and bowed his head low.
"Oyakata-sama, [name]-sama," and [name hopped off from the patio with excitement running through her veins as she ran up to Sanemi and engulfed him in a hug, causing Oyakata-sama to chuckle a little as he was still able to see how Sanemi was blushing terribly.
