Sanemi sat up as he watched [name] standing by the full-length mirror. A soft smile appeared on his lips as he looked at her placing her hands on the baby bump that had now grown in size, since she was close to being 9 months pregnant, which means sooner or later she would be giving birth.

Going into labour, bringing a life into this world where he vowed to protect them from any danger that comes towards them.

"Are you alright?" Sanemi called out and [name] hummed in response as she felt a little exhausted despite just waking up not too long ago. She turned to look at him with a smile on her face as she slowly waddled to where he was since the bump was slightly huge on her body.

He chuckled as he stood up and walked towards her, his arms wrapped just beneath the baby bump as he looked into the full-length mirror and smiled as [name] was looking into it as well. He turned and pecked her on the cheek, which she softly giggled at.

"Pregnancy is taking a toll on you," he softly whispered out and [name] hummed in response as she started to yawn softly once more, and Sanemi could only chuckle.

"Let's go, we are visiting Oyakata-sama," he spoke out and [name] nodded her head as he held her hand tightly in his and he slowly guided her out of the room after helping her slip on the footwear, securing it tightly on her swollen feet.

"You seem to be feeling insecure, [name]-sama," he spoke out as he looked up to her after securing the footwear and he smiled gently at her as she turned to avoid his gaze as she slowly nodded her head.

"Doesn't matter, I still love you," he whispered out as he planted a kiss on her lips once he stood up straight, causing her face to flush red instead which he softly chuckled at as they left the estate hand in hand.

"I love you too," she mumbled out and Sanemi felt like he was on cloud nine, due to how expressive [name] was ever since her pregnancy. He couldn't help but feel his heart falling deeper for her as he continued to hear her soft giggles.

And how he had prevented her from getting violated.

Many started to whisper as they pointed towards the Wind Hashira who was scowling in response. But what caught their attention was how he was holding onto [name]'s delicate hand in his rough ones, and intertwined their fingers. As if afraid she might disappear all too soon, and [name], was very smiley.

Their eyes noticed the baby bump, which they couldn't help but stare in awe as [name] was awfully happy in regards to the child in her womb, one could tell due to how much she was smiling.

They walked down the pavement leading to the Ubushiyaki Estate where [name] originally lived together with her family. Many continued to turn their heads as they looked at how [name] and Sanemi were utterly different. It was as if on [name]'s side, it was bright and sunny.
