"Hoy ate girl!

"May nakita sigurong pogi 'yan."

They're from Northernville Academy.

We are in Southernville Academy today as the representatives of our school for the annual Schools Press Conference. We will compete with the other school's representatives as well.

Suzy and I are part of our school's radio broadcasting team, there were two radio anchors in our team and I am one of it, while Suzy is assigned as the Sports News Reporter.

The competition in the radio broadcasting has already started and we are the 2nd team to perform. I was getting anxious because my role is very important as I am the lead journalist of our team.

I found a space in a corner. I went there alone so I could practice.

"Broadcasting live from DZKD 99.5. The Paramount News! Good afternoon, Philippines. Good afternoon, Metro Manila. Today is Tuesday, July 17, 2018. I am Tylli Elizalde.... your partners in service. For the headlinesㅡ"

I looked up and saw someone holding and pointing his DSLR camera at me.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I disturb your practice?" He said.

Nahihiya akong tumango.

"Sorry. I just can't help taking a photo of you. You look really serious and dedicated." He added.

He's familiar. Ah! He was one of the guys na nakita ko kanina! He's from Northernville Academy!

"It's okay." Sabi ko.

"I heard your... uhm, practice. You're a radio anchor? You're good. From what school are you?" He asked.

"Yes, uhm... Anstilon High. I'm from Anstilon High." I said.

"Oh! I'm a photo journalist from Northernville Academy," He smiled.
"It was nice meeting you. Good luck!" He said and left.

I guess his words gave me strength and confidence. I felt satisfied after our performance. My team, friends, and teachers said that I did great and I could possibly be qualified for the Best Anchor Awardee and I did win the 1st place. I felt so honored. I'm representing the whole school, so it really felt so great to be awarded by such award.

"Talaga?! Grabe talaga ang stalking skills mo, sis!"

"Ano ka ba, girl? Ako lang 'to oh!" She flipped her hair.
