A/N: Hey, this is based on the above tweet, so I don't actually own it. However, I have no idea on who to credit, so please can you tell me who it belongs to if you know.  It is through the view of Rose, an oc character. Thank you, enjoy!

"Uther Pendragon vocally opposes same-sex marriage"

The picture is of a stern-looking Uther, hands gripping the wood of the temporary podium so tightly the blood has drained out of the visible skin. He is scowling at the sea of press in front of him, but a strained smile remains firmly on his lips at all times. A blanked faced Arthur stands behind him, lips ironed flat - not a scowl or smile, but balancing precariously on the edge. Morgana can be seen exiting the stadium in the corner, emerald dress flowing behind her as she stalks away.

Rolling my eyes, I throw the glossy magazine back onto the stand, before continuing back to work.

One week later, yet another headline catches my eyes:

"Morgana Pendragon makes a speech at pride, and makes out with a girl"

Morgana is wearing a Pretty white summer dress that stops just below her knees, half her face painted in a rainbow, hair supporting a rainbow flower crown, and her arm wrapped around the waist of a dark-skinned brunette. A rainbow mic is gripped in the other, and it's obvious that she has just finished her speech from her gleaming eyes and the waving hands of the parade.

Smiling, I continue on my route once more.

It becomes a regular stop from then on, and the titles gradually get more interesting.

"Uther Pendragon vocally opposes the legal rights of magic users"

"Morgana Pendragon outs herself as a witch and blows up half of her manor"

This one has a photo of Morgana - dressed in a blood-red gown, with glowing golden eyes smirking in the middle of flashing lights and blaring sirens, a pale and sweating Uthur shouting wildly at her. Arthur sits in the background, hands hiding his face and a pale skinny male rubbing his shoulders comfortingly.

The real kicker comes only two weeks later when two glossy covers catch my attention.

"Arthur Pendragon spotted kissing magic-user and activist Merlin Emrys"

Arthur is dressed in a white t-shirt and jeans, an arm around the pale boy from before, whose face is now clear in the photo.  Arthur is pressing a kiss to the boys cheek, both blushing and a happy glint in their eyes as they walk down the street. A smaller photo underneath shows Arthur holding a hand to his chest in overexaggerated mock offence, with a giggling Merlin prodding his stomach.

"Uthur Pendragon refusing to speak to the press"

Cacking like a lunatic, I take a quick photo of the covers before pulling up my brother's contact and pressing call - still laughing madly.
