"Hi-yo, Silver AWAYYYY!!!"

"It's always been mass not distance!" I heard Eddie exclaim as we arrived at the quarry.

"Wow, what a conversation to not hear the context to!" I exclaimed as I got off the bike. The boys all turned around and I noticed Ben was here too. Richie smirked already thinking about a joke.

"You should hear the conversation between me and Eddie's mom, when I'm at their house," Richie joked and got immediately scolded by Bill, Stan and Eddie, but Ben seemed to smile a bit.

"Anyway, took you long enough to get here," Stan said looking at me and Bill. I rolled my eyes and took my pants off, leaving me only in my boxers like the rest of the boys were dressed.

My gaze went to Richie for a second and I saw that he was looking at my stomach for some reason.

"W-what's that?" Eddie asked pointing to my stomach. I looked down to see a big bruise.

"What the fuck?!" I muttered under my breath.

"Ok, I swear to God, I have no idea where this came from, guys, but I'm completely fine!" I reassured them. They looked at me with concern in their eyes, and I inwardly groaned. I didn't need pity.

"Shouldn't we heal the bruise? I-I don't want to be in the water with the bacteria-"

"Alright, who's first?" Bill cut off Eddie as I went over and stood next to them. Nobody dared to jump as everyone looked down.

"I'll go!" Someone exclaimed and we all turned around to see Beverly undressing. Her hair flowed behind her as she ran towards the edge of the cliff.

"Sissies!" She said in an amused voice before she jumped in.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Richie yelled out. As she hit the water, Richie turned to us.

"Ah, holy shit! We just got shown up by a girl!" Richie exclaimed and I cackled.

"Do we have to do that now?" Stan asked with a shaky voice, eyeing the distance between us and the water.

"Yes!" Eddie exclaimed, looking a bit worried too.

"Come on!" Beverly yelled out from the water.

"Awh, shit..." Stan said as we all jumped in the water. Bill being first, Ben after him then Richie, me, Eddie and Stanley. I winced as the water harshly hit my stomach.

We all splashed around in the water. I was smiling, enjoying the fun we had left of the summer. We played a chicken fight, me holding up Beverly on my shoulders as Ben held up Richie. Richie ended up pushing Beverly off, cheering by raising his hands.

"You all right?" I asked Beverly as she resurfaced from under the water.

"Never have been better!" She replied, looking at me and smiling. I smiled back at her and then we went back to playing around.

Richie suddenly grabbed me and held me as he went underwater. I panicked, knowing that he probably would drown me. As soon, as we resurfaced, I smacked his head when he snickered.

"AH, FUCK! WHAT WAS THAT?!" Richie yelled out. I looked at him, not knowing what he was talking about until I felt something touch my legs and let out a small scream.

"What?" Eddie asked.

"Right here!" Richie replied and everyone swam over to see.

"It's a turtle," Bill explained after checking out what it was underwater. I mentally slapped myself for screaming because of a turtle.

We all played around a bit more and then decided to go back up to the cliff. Richie had brought his radio, so he switched to a station that was currently playing "Bust A Move" by Young MC. Everyone was checking out Beverly, as she laid on her towel on the ground. I didn't, instead I looked over at Richie. He was practically drooling over Beverly and I felt a sharp pang in my chest.

Beverly raised her head to look at us and everyone turned around, pretending to be doing something else. The redhead had a cocky smile on her face.

"News flash, Ben. School's out for summa!" Richie exclaimed in his best British accent, going through Ben's backpack and grabbing a letter.

"Who gave you this?" Richie asked in amusement as he held the letter.

"No one," Ben snatched the letter away from Richie.

"What's this?" Richie asked grabbing some sort of book.

"It's Derry's history. It's got a lot of tragedies, the big ones happening every-"

"27 years," Bill finished, cutting Ben off. They were looking through the book and were talking about something, but I zoned out, wondering if my parents had already declared me missing to the police.

"I've got more stuff at my place, if you want to see," Ben offered.

"I can't go, my parents will literally kill me if I'm not home by now. I'll be surprised, if they won't have noticed me missing," I explained.

"You what-"

"Alright, I got to go then, guys. I'll see you around!" I said grabbing my stuff and running to change my clothes.

"Hey, w-wait, but y-yu-you don't have a ride home-" Bill exclaimed.

"I can drive him home!" Richie offered.

"Sure, why the fuck not," I replied, not wanting to be around Bill today. I put on my pants as Richie bickered with the rest of the Losers.

"Aren't you going to come with us to Ben's home?" Eddie asked probably beating the speed of light with the speed of his talking.

"Nah, I didn't want to see the nerdy stuff anyway," Richie replied.

"Hey, what are you calling nerdy? You literally have straight A's-" Stan protested.

"Hey, hey! Shhh!" Richie hushed Stan, probably wanting to hide it from everyone else that didn't know.

"Literally everyone knows it, dickwad. Why hide it?" Eddie mocked him.

"W-"

"Hey, I'm ready, let's go!" I said making over-exaggerated hand gestures pointing to the bikes.

"Sure, just a second!" Richie responded and accidentally fell while putting his pants back on. We all laughed at him.

"Hey!" He cried out, giving us a joking glare. I walked over to help him stand up.
