A Beach Confession

I woke up just in time for my breakfast. Nanny cooked me some blueberry pancakes and made me iced coffee. I ate my breakfast in the living room while looking for something to watch in Netflix. I stumbled upon Miracles from Heaven and started to watch it. A few minutes in, I heard footsteps coming down stairs. I turned to see who it was and it was Tiana.

"What are you watching?"

"Miracles from Heaven."

She went to the kitchen to get her pancakes and sat next to me. I only ate 1 pancake and was full already so I gave the rest of my pancakes to Tiana. We cried while watching the movie. It was such a good movie!

Credits rolled in and I got up to get some tissues para sa sipon ko. Tiana followed me, I guess she's looking for tissues too. I went inside the storage room and got ourselves some tissues.

"Ate, are you in a diet?" Tiana suddenly asked me.

"Hindi naman."

Tumango lang siya at bumalik na sa couch.

"Bakit mo nasabi?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"Maliit kasi ang kinain mo kagabi even though it was your favorite dish," sagot niya, "binigay mo rin sakin ang mga pancakes mo."

"Busog lang talaga ako."

Pumunta na ako sa kwarto ko para magshower. Pagkatapos nang shower ay nagsuot na ako ng oversized t-shirt at shorts. Kinuha ko ang phone ko para i-text ni Maureen ang lahat na nangyari kahapon.

Maureen: ay, meet the family agad

Amp! Si-neen lang ako. Di siya nakapag haha react. Nag-aral nalang ako para sa finals namin. 3 pm na so I fixed my things na idadala ko sa dorm. Tinawag ko na si Kuya Teting para ihanda niya na ang sasakyan. I went downstairs and said my goodbyes to Tiana at nanny. Wala na si mommy at daddy, baka busy sa trabaho. May sariling business si daddy about a food brand at si mommy naman ay may clothing line.

I went inside the car na inihanda ni Kuya Teting at siya na ang nagdrive. 5 pm na ako dumating sa dorm namin. Kuya Teting carried my things and put it inside my dorm. After Kuya Teting left, natulog nalang ako para maaga akong magising.

I woke up at 7 AM at naligo. May class ako for Anatomy at 8 AM- 10 AM. Magkasama kami nila Maureen and Keian for this class. I finished preparing my things about 7:47. Hindi naman malayo ang Clarke Medical School sa dorm namin kaya naglakad nalang ako. Pumasok na ako sa classroom at nakita ko si Keian sa 3rd row. I sat beside him. We talked about the circulatory system. 7:55 nang dumating si Maureen and she sat beside me.

"Safe!"sabi niya.

I sighed. Maaga dumating ang prof namin kaya nagsimula nalang kami. It was the usual boring lecture. Dahil maaga si prof nagsimula, maaga rin kaming na dismiss.

"Punta tayo sa library to study for finals," I invited them.

"May class pa ako in 30 minutes so I'll use this time to eat," sabi ni Maureen.

"May groupings pa akong gagawin," Kienan said, "We're meeting in one of the sheds inside campus"

"Ganun ba?" sabi ko, "sige take care."

Pumunta ako sa library at umupo nang mag-isa doon. Para akong loner! I really hate it when people look at me while I'm alone baka magjudge sila na loner daw ako. 11:30 PM na kaya nagugutom na ako. I put my books inside my bag at naglakad na ako patungo sa canteen. Habang naglalakad ako nakita ko si Keian na may kausap siyang babae. I walked in closer to see who it was and was shocked to see Queen Shaw.

Queen Shaw is a 3rd year student and is named the no. 1 beauty in Clarke Medicine School. She is tall with pale skin, black hair and brown eyes. Almost everyone knows her 3 sizes; 36-24-35. Nakita kung tumawa si Queen sa sinabi ni Keian. She even touched his shoulder!!

Nagalit ako bigla sa nakita ko. I didn't like what they were doing. I thought may groupings si Keian! Si Queen Shaw ba ang grouping na tinutukoy niya?! Bakit sila naglalandi parang mga gago! Did Keian lie to me?

Nawala na ang gutom ko at dumiretso nalang sa next class ko. Thank God hindi kami kaklase ni Keian baka masampal ko siya! Sumakit ang tiyan ko in the middle of class. Haystt, wala pa kasi akong kinain. Sumakit lalo ang tiyan ko when I remembered what happened earlier! I told my prof na I need to go to the clinic, pinapunta niya ako. I stopped by the cafeteria to buy some food and went to the clinic. The nurses told me to just put some Efficasent Oil. It relieved my stomachache so pumunta agad ako sa classroom para wala ako masyadong ma-miss.

I went to a few other classes and dismissal ko na. I went straight to my dorm para magpahinga. Unang natapos si Maureen sa schedule niya and told me everything that happened to her this day. Sinabi ko narin sa kanya ang nangyari kanina, noong nakita ko si Keian nilalandi si Queen.

Maureen: proud ako ni Keian <3 ako ang nagturo sa kanya kung paano lumandi

Brianna: that's what struck you the most?! He lied to me and flirted with a girl!!

Maureen: it's not a big deal, Bree

Brianna: IT IS A BIG DEAL FOR MEE!

I waited for Maureen's response for how many seconds.

Maureen: i thought di mo gusto si Keian

Brianna: oo nga

Maurren: then why are you being jealous?
