Chapter Nine- FootLoose

"SOPHIA!"

I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around me as I stepped off the stage, he crowd roaring. The person lifted me off the ground and I laughed, wondering who it was. When they set me back on my feet, I turned around to see Slash, smiling wider than ever. The rest of the guys were all standing close by, and smiling. I wrapped my arms around him and closed my eyes, squeezing him so tight,

"You were amazing!" He said, holding his hands on my shoulders I laughed,

"I knew you could do it, princess." Izzy said, hugging me. Tommy ran over and grabbed my waist, picking me up and spinning me,

"Dude, you were so great!" He said, setting me on the ground I laughed,

"Thanks, guys. Now, go, you have to get ready, you're on in like ten minutes!" I scolded.

The guys all exited the stage door and Guns headed for their dressing rooms. Duff and I were the only ones left in the room, and he was standing by the closed door, rocking back and forth on his heals,

"You okay?" I asked. He looked in my eyes and smiled, nodding,

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. Are you?" He asked. I sighed,

"I think so." I said, nodding. He walked towards me so he was standing in front of me. I looked up into his eyes and wrapped my arms around his waist, hugging him close,

"What's this for?" He asked,

"Shhh..." I told him.

Duff remained quiet as he wrapped his arms around me as well. We just stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, for a good couple minutes, in total silence. His strong arms held me tightly,

"Duff?" I asked,

"Hm?"

"I really do like you."

"I know."

"I just wanted you to know that. I'm just confused, y'know?"

"I know."

"Do you?"

"Yeah. Yeah, I understand. I really like you too, Sophie." He said.

He pulled away, and sat down on a nearby speaker, and pulled me closer to him, placing his hands on my waist,

"Sophia..." He said. I smiled,

"Yes?" I asked,

"I... a few months ago, when we first met, I just saw you as this beautiful girl that walked into me on the Sunset Strip... But, now, I see you as this beautiful, smart, hilarious, girl, who moved into my house, became friends with my bandmates, came with me on tour, and quickly became my best friend." He started. My eyes softened and I smiled slightly, staring into his emerald eyes, "And... Sophia, I think- no, I am falling in love with you."

Duffs words hit me so hard they knocked the wind out of me. My eyes widened and my mouth dropped open. Duff sat silently and nervously, waiting on my response. I took a breath,

"Duff, I..." I started, staring into his beautiful green eyes with my own. I cupped his cheeks with my palms and leaned in closer to him, and his arms closed around my waist, "I'm falling in love with you too."

"I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO, JOSE! IM FALLING IN LOVE WITH DUFF, BUT I THINK IM FALLING IN LOVE WITH SLASH TOO! AND OF COURSE, THERES STILL IZZY. WHAT DO I DO?!" I asked Jose, frantically. I paced my hotel room, holding the telephone in my hand,

"Okay, calm down, take a deep breath. Now think, who can you picture a future with?" She asked. I sighed, thinking back to the future I had invisioned for Slash and I, and I was immediately taken back to that same feeling.
