I stood in the middle of the city, the bright lights of buildings twinkling above me. The stars gleamed behind the tall buildings and the crisp city air smelled of smoke and exhaust from the cars. A light shower fell from the sky, clear water droplets sprinkling the ground. I walked down the sidewalk, almost without thinking. It was strange, it felt as if I wasn't controlling what I was doing. Like I was seeing it from my own body, but at the same time was watching from a distance.

I crossed the street to the brighter side, which had more street lights. My heels clicked down the sidewalk and I noticed that I was wearing... something I would never normally wear... it was a purple, v-neck, floor length dress that was partially open in the front so you could see my legs. The plum fabric fluttered in the night air and I noticed the dark purple stilettos on my feet. I looked into an empty store window to see myself in a full face of makeup, with dangly pearl earrings and a beautiful gold necklace with a single rose pendant. My lipstick was a dark shade of red and my hair was in pin rolls, like the style from the 1950s, but was down and curled in the back.

I was beyond confused and didn't have the slightest clue where on earth I was. All I knew was that I was walking down the streets of some big city in a beautiful satin dress that probably cost more than a years rent in my apartment. I picked up the extra fabric in my hands, careful not to allow the gorgeous dress to drag along the ground. I strolled down the street, looking around until I reached a long sidewalk, where there was quite a bit of people, all of which were dressed normally. I felt completely out of my element and was 100% the center of attention, but not for the reason I thought. Everyone stared at me and made room in the middle of the wide sidewalk. Everyone ended up stopping around me and I looked at them, confused. Suddenly, I noticed the rain again, this time for a strange reason. The rain had... changed. It had changed colors. Now, the rain was the same color as my dress. I raised an eyebrow and tried to look at it more closely,

"Purple... rain?" I said, confused.

Something about that had sounded familiar, and then I remembered, the song Purple Rain by Prince. Almost as soon as the words popped into my head, the song started playing in the background. I turned around to see where the music was coming from and was instead greeted by Duff, who was holding a dozen purple roses and was down on one knee in front of me. I looked around, wondering what was going on,

"Soph," Duff said, grabbing my attention. I turned back to him to see a purple velvet box in his hand, and I gasped. "ever since I met you, right here, on the Sunset Strip, I've wanted to make you mine. And now we're back here, in the place we first met, and I'm asking if you'll be mine forever. You're the love of my life, and I need you. I've never felt like this about anyone else before. I love you Sophia," He said, taking my hand in his, "will you marry me?" He asked. I put my other hand over my mouth, shocked. I opened my mouth to give a response, but before I could, the people around us gasped. I turned around to see what it was they were all looking at, and saw Slash, who was also down on one knee, holding a dozen white roses and a red velvet box,

"Sophia, I know I didn't meet you first. I know that you looked at Duff the way I look at you first, and I know that it was always him first. But these past couple of years that I've spent with you have changed my life, and I've fallen in love with you. You've been such a blessing to this band and I can't imagine what would have happened to all of us by now without you. I can't imagine what would've happened to me by now without you. Sophia, I love you. And I want to spend every day for the rest of me life only loving you," He said, opening the box to reveal a diamond ring, "will you marry me?"

My mouth dropped open and turned around to look at Duff, who was still kneeling on the ground, box in hand, and then back to Slash, who was doing the same thing. I looked around to see what the crowd was doing, but they had disappeared, almost into thin air. I was beyond confused and overwhelmed by the diamond rings and roses. The rain was still falling, but this time it fell harder. I was torn. The guys were waiting for me to make a decision, but it was too much pressure,
