SPOILERS!!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! (Did I phrase that right...?)
I love the art style of this show. It's so prettyyyyy. IDK why I watched it. I forgot how I learned about it but I think I saw it in the 'Top Anime of the Season' list.
I finished all 12 episodes in a day (when I was supposed to be doing class work) and it was beautiful. I've pestered my sister to watch it 1,000 times and she only watched it last week and she also loves it.
The show is hilarious, witty, and I love the supernatural elements. I sometimes forget that Yashiro is a 16 year old girl, she looks younger than that.
I also sometimes forget that Hanako isn't human as I read the TBHK comics. I still haven't read the manga, but every time I watch a TBHK video, manga readers make a comment like:
*cries after reading Chapter __*
And I'm so confused but I kinda know what's gonna happen and I really want to read the manga but I don't wanna cry.
The opening theme (is amazing) actually spoils some parts of the story.
(I low-key want Yashiro to die so that she can end up with Hanako... I'M SO MEAN 😅👌)
If that can't happen, can someone make Hanako human????
Well, her name, Yashiro, has a the kanji of 'hachi' or 'eight' in Japanese. There are Seven Mysteries in the school, so maybe...? Her first name, Nene, sounds kind of similar to 'nana' which is 'seven' in Japanese so maybe that's why she's linked with Hanako? IDK WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.
