poem #3

25 4 9

I realized how confused I am with this poem. Sorry if you're confused as well. ✌️

Rage.
That will be my song
Of what I may come to be.
The demand of the monster controlled,
And destruction is her answer.

Fear.
When did I think
I'd ever feel that
I'm not the true person I am,
Sooner or later, they'll find out

Truth.
The source of fear
Like blood, secrets will be spilled,
Tears like waterfalls
The only one I cared about is gone.

Farce.
What a complete atrocity,
To have such notice
In a little name
Even though I'm no one.

Stunned.
When I bumped into you,
Around the corner of confusion
To the cacophony
Of the drowning subway.

Dread.
The hollow corridor and
The sound of the fading steps
Meant nothing to me but
I had to get going or I'd get caught.

You caught me
From the humiliating horrors
Of just tripping and losing my way.

This Sea of Distortion
Is a grand wave of voices
A spinning whirlpool of insults
That no one can save you from

I dread,
I was stunned,
I'm a farce,
I fear my truth
Of my rage.

And there is nothing I can do.
Did you pull me out?
You were not my savior,
But I should thank you for trying,
Even though I cannot be helped.

Fear me,
fear her.
Fear that

Sooner or later
Truths and secrets will be spilled
As to how one will be drowned.
Ransoms are not enough
Kill the monster, and you'll be free.

Author's Note: You probably may be really confused with this one. This is written when I placed my shoes in one of my OC's (this original character is mentioned in the poem in code hehe).

She's been hiding and running away from who she really is after she witnessed a big mistake and blames herself. Until she met someone who has been trying to know who she really is. She's scared to speak out her thoughts, her negativity has been preventing her to express herself. These are the words unspoken because it was written, never told.

The Sea of Distortion is just a nickname of the voice in her head. Like the imaginary angel and devil sitting by your shoulders in cartoons.
