Theo sat on her bed with her dog Max beside her.
A/N~I don't know if I mentioned this before but Theo has a golden retriever named Max. She had max since she was little
She looked at her phone and saw a message.
Pip❤️: meet me at the park at 5:00 I have something important to tell you
Theo didn't know what this meant. She put her coat on and walked out the door to the park.
When she got there she saw Philip standing under a tree. The sun was setting behind him. Theo walked up to him. "Hey Pip"
"Oh hey Theo"
She asked, "What is it you want to talk to me about?"
Philip looked down at his feet. "Theo...I've known you since I was a baby and we are very good friends, this might ruin our friendship but I need to tell you that during middle school I sort of devolved a crush on you. I think you're smart funny and pretty and I still have a crush on you...and I just want you to know that I love you!"
Theo smiled, "I love you too. You know I had a crush on you too." Philip also smiled, "really?"
Theo giggled, "I've had a crush on you for a while, You're sweet and funny and I love you too!"
"So...would you want to carry the title of being my girlfriend?"
"Of course" she hugged Philip and he hugged her. And smiled. "Wanna walk home with me?" She nodded.
As they walked home Philip interlocked their fingers together so they where holding hands. They got to her house.
It was dark outside. They stood in front of Theo's door. "I'll see you later" Said Philip. "Yeah see ya"
She kissed him on the cheek and he turned beet red, she moved her lips from his cheek and smiled at his pink face.
"Goodnight Theo" He said.
"Goodnight Philip"

The next morning Philip woke up. Happy as ever. I couldn't wait to tell his family that he got a girlfriend. We walked downstairs to see his mom making pancakes. Angie was helping setting up the table for breakfast.
"Guess what Angie"
Angie looked up from her plate, "What?"
"I have a girlfriend now" he stated. Angie squealed, "Finally!" She said.
Eliza walked in the room, "Wait what? Philip has a girlfriend?"
"Yes I do"
Eliza squeezed her son, "AHHH I AM SO HAPPY!!!" Philip's brothers also walked into the room.
"So who's the lucky girl?" Eliza asked. James scoffed, "More like, unlucky girl"
"JAMES!" Eliza scold at her son. "It's Theo" Philip stated and Eliza hugged her son again, "Aww I always knew you too would be a couple!!!"
"Mommmm!!" Philip whined. Soon Alexander walked into the room. "Philip has a girlfriend?"
Eliza nodded, "Yes and it's Theo! He had a crush on here since 6th grade!" Eliza exclaimed.
"Wait, how did you know I like her?"
"Well I read one of your poems-"
"YOU WHERE SNEAKING IN MY ROOM!"
"AJ found the poem and gave it to me and I thought it was cute!" Eliza said.
"This family is unbelievable" Philip grumbled.
