Theo was a little nervous. She's never been on a date before.
As she got ready she looked at the framed picture of her mom next to her mirror. "I'm going on my first date mama. Aren't you proud?" Theo spoke to the picture.
It was a picture of her mom standing under a cherry tree, Aaron took the picture because he said Theodosia looked so beautiful.
Theo smiled. "Well wish me luck" she brushed her hair and then went downstairs.
Philip picked her up in his car.
After a while they where taking about the situation with their dads.
"I can't believe that he doesn't like you because of your dad? I mean, he doesn't even know you" Said Theo.
"Yeah my dad says the same. It's crazy how they used to be friends when we where little" Said Philip.
Theo nodded, "Well...ever since my mom died, he kind of changed"
"What do you mean?" Asked Philip. "H-He's more serious and holds grudges against people and he's never happy anymore. And he is always caught up in work" said Theo.
Philip nodded, "Sorry to hear that" said Philip. Theo leaned her head on his shoulder, "Thanks Pip" Philip's face turned red.
After a while of talking, joking and laughing they got into the car and Philip drove Theo home. He stopped the car at the front of her house.
"I'll see you later Theo" Philip said with a smile, "Yeah, see ya"
It was 9:00 pm and dark outside, They stared at each other for a few seconds, before Philip leaned in slowly,
Theo didn't know what to do, she leaned closer to him.
Their lips touched softly, and they started to passionately kiss, as their lips moved on each other. Philip felt Theo's soft lips on his.
They passionately kissed till they need air and slowly pulled their lips away. Their foreheads still touching and their noses close together too.
Theo and Philip both blushed and he pulled away, "I'm sorry Theo-"
"No don't be, I liked it" Theo said with a smile making Philip blush.
"Well I should get going but I'll see you at school tomorrow" Said Theo. She opened the car door.
"Goodnight Theo"
"Goodnight Pip"
And she got out of the car and walked to her house. Philip leaned back in the driver's seat, his face still flustered.
"Dam, that felt good" he mumbled to himself before starting the car and driving home.
