The next day was school. Philip and Theo walked together. Soon they got to school and Philip was at his locker.
"Hey Philip~" Said Emily. Philip waved awkwardly. "Oh uh hi"
"So are you free this Saturday?" She asked. LUCKILY for Philip, the bell rang.
"oh um, I have to go I'll talk to you later-" he ran as fast as he could to his next class. He was definitely not interested in Emily.

Later at Lunch, Georges, Frances, Philip, Theo, William, and Abigail all sat at a table. Theo was quiet then usual. Everyone knew about her mother's passing. They comforted her all day.
"Do you guys want to go to the movies?" William asked. "Sounds like fun" Said Frances.
"Count me in! We can watch a scary movie!" Philip said happily. Theo looked down, "I think I'll pass" she said.
"Come on Theo, you have to come!"
"Please come Theo" Philip pleaded.
"I'll think about it" she responded.

Later they where walking home. "So...did you think about it?" Philip asked.
Theo nodded. "Yeah...I'm pretty sure I don't want to go"
"Oh come on Theo! It'll be fun. We can share popcorn"
Theo looked down at her feet as she walked. "I don't like scary movies" she said.
"You can sit next to me! I'll protect you" Philip stayed proudly making Theo giggle.
Philip said, "So...are you coming?"
She finally agreed.

They where at the movies. Philip even invited his sister Angie. Angie always hung out with them, she's the baby of the group even though she's a year younger.
"I got popcorn!" Georges exclaimed.
"Come on guys let's go!" Said Abigail, and they walked into the movie theater. Theo sat next to Philip.
The movie started and it was definitely scary for Theo. She grabbed Philip's hand and held it in hers. He didn't say anything, he felt a warm feeling in his heart.
It's felt good to be her protector. It felt good to feel her hand on his.
His heart felt fuzzy and happy as he smiled to himself.
This could only mean one thing...He thought.
I'm in love with my best friend.
