Travis and I sat next to one another at the table, both of us half asleep. Will woke us up for some reason and ushered us to the table quickly. Of course we obliged. That's why we're both falling asleep in our chairs.

Suddenly, two plates came sliding over to us, which definitely woke us up. It smelled absolutely lovely, and looked even better- both of us had a stack of pancakes dressed like smiley faces in front of us. Although, this was pretty odd. Normally, we went to make our own breakfast, which was usually toaster waffles or cereal. This was a strange occurrence.

"You seem real perky," Travis muttered in a tired voice. He stared at Will in suspicion, not even glancing at the pancakes- even though I knew he secretly wanted to shove them all in his mouth.

He was certainly correct, though. There was a strange aura surrounding Will. He didn't have the same vibe that he usually did. He was... smiling. That was weird. He was also dressed in whites instead of blacks.

"What?" he asked, shrugging. "Can't I just make some breakfast for my two most favorite people in the world?" He reached over to ruffle up both of our hairs. Travis just tried to swat his hand away.

"No, no. I'm not complaining. You're just acting sus." Travis took the can of whipped cream from the table and began pouring a whole load of it onto his pancakes. It got to a point where I couldn't even see the pancakes anymore.

Will shook his head, a big cheesy smile still on his face. "Don't worry. I'm not acting sus. I just feel great today!" He grinned and then stepped away to check something on his phone.

Travis and I shot each other confused glances. Something was definitely up. Will was never this happy. "Do you think he's getting married?" I asked in confusion.

Travis choked on his whipped cream-covered pancakes when I said that. "God, I hope not. I didn't see a ring on his finger!! Hunty, I don't wanna see a ring on his finger anytime soon, I tell you that."
"Yeah, hunty. I don't think so either." I started crumpling up a pancake in my hands like a paper ball. I felt it's more efficient that way. You can eat it in one bite. "I did see something weird on him, though."

"Oh yeah? Like what?" I could finally see the pancakes on his plate again. Oh, how I missed them.

I shrugged, trying to power down the pancake-ball I just shoved into my mouth before speaking. "Well, there was some purple stuff on his apron. Do we have anything purple?" I checked the rest of my pancakes to see if there was any purple there.

Travis checked his as well to no avail. He took a strawberry and wiped it on his whipped cream to show the red stain it made. "Nope. Just red. That's weird. Maybe he was drinking wine while he was cooking. I saw some women do that on The Real Housewives of New York." He popped the strawberry in his mouth afterwards.

"Maybe. ...Wine smells like someone peed in grape juice. Why would you drink that?" I shoved another pancake-ball into my mouth after I expressed my disdain for wine.

Will popped back in, waving to us as he went to get something from the counter. "Your old man's gonna be in the basement, okay? Don't come down there. I'm doing adult stuff. I'll be back."

Travis just glared at him, a fistful of whipped cream in one of his hands. "I'm an adult too. You're only five years older than me, jackass."

"You're a kid to me, Travvy. You need to keep an eye on BB for me. Make sure he doesn't choke on anything. I'll bring you two presents if you're good." He was carrying a sealed bowl in one arm and a bag of red Solo cups in the other. "Remember, don't go in the basement. I love you two. Muah muah." And just like that, he was gone.

Travis just glared after him before slapping his whipped cream-filled hand on the table (getting it everywhere in the process) and shouting after him "HE'S A ROBOT!! HE CAN'T CHOKE ON ANYTHING!!"
