Travis and I gazed upon the basement doors. What lay before us would probably be the last we see for quite a while. There's something terrible awaiting us down there. I know it. I can feel it deep in my soul.

"...You ready?" I heard Travis ask... but I didn't really know if I was. All I did was nod, and Travis opened up the door to let us sneak in one more time. There was pure silence down there. It was... horrifying.

He went in first, and I went in after him. I didn't close the door. If we had to run out of there, it'd be better if the door was wide open. We stepped down the stairs quietly. Travis peered around the wall to try and see what was going on.

Something was definitely strange this time around. I don't know what Travis could see, but he wasn't reacting to it. I stepped down a little to try and peek over as well, but couldn't do it without risking getting seen by whatever was down there.

Travis pushed me back a couple steps gently. I stumbled a little, but it was better to stumble than it was to have my head out for everyone to see. My ears burned, though. I knew something was wrong. I can't shake it. Without another thought, I looked up at Travis, ready to express my discomfort.

"What a surprise seeing you two down here!"

I felt something tink against my back, and I shakily looked over to see Travis had something pressed against his back as well. The door... was Will waiting for us all this time? He knew I was going to keep the door open...

"...Hello, Will," he forced out in a trembling voice. I knew he knew there was a knife pressed right up against his back. I could see fear on his face, but there was a firm, angry demeanor overshadowing it.

"You two have been quite curious these past few days, haven't you?" The knives twisted slightly further into our backs, causing Travis to wince in pain. "I take it you've seen quite a bit of my work."

He gave a side eyed glare at Will, balling up his fists in rage. "That's saying the least, don't ya think?"
"Well, don't worry too much about it," Will snickered as he forced us down the stairs. I noticed he had a strange mixture of purple Kool-Aid and blood staining the bottom of his pants and his shoes. "You both have your purposes."

I could see a pile of people a short distance away. They had all been pulled into a pile, and I could tell they'd been dead for quite a while. Solo cups stained purple littered the floor. The whole sight sent a shiver down my spine.

The entire basement reeked of gasoline. There was a box of matches nearby the bodies as well. I'm not sure what it reminds me of, but that felt somehow familiar. There was another body that was away from the stack, but it had its innards strewn about like confetti. I could see some flies swirling around the puncture in its stomach.

I'm glad Travis didn't notice what I saw over on the other side of the room. It definitely looked like a sacrifice took place, and it definitely looked like there was a struggle. I felt like I was gonna throw up...

Travis narrowed his eyes and stopped in his tracks, getting the knife shoved slightly deeper into his body. "What are you gonna do, sacrifice me to your precious little Xemüg? Gonna cry? Gonna piss your pants maybe? Maybe shit and c-"
(P/N: IM-)
"You'd make a great follower, wouldn't you think, Travis?" He snatched the knife away from Travis's back, turning him around and putting it in his hand. He lifted his hand up to Travis's chin to hold him still.
"You'd make a great toilet bowl stain, you walking Jolly Rancher reject." He lifted up both his fists and raised his middle fingers up at Will, accompanying his point by blowing a raspberry. "Suck my cock and balls, cult-boy."

Will gave a brief shrug, scanning him up and down before throwing a hard punch right at Travis's head, knocking him right to the floor. "You know, I can't say I didn't offer. I suppose I'll have to do this the hard way."

Travis lifted his hand up to his mouth, wiping blood from the corner of it. From what I could tell, a tooth had fallen from his mouth. "The fuck's your problem?! Why are you acting like this?!"

"Perhaps a chat with Xemüg will lift your spirits. I'll need to borrow a few parts first, though." He turned to me, and I felt an aching sensation from the way he looked at me. I probably should've taken the opportunity to run up the stairs and call the cops in hindsight.

He knocked me down to the floor, and the last thing I saw was his foot charging down right at my face before I couldn't see anything but blackness.
