We heard the basement doors shut, so we knew we had to put on our acting faces. It was high time to seem like we weren't listening to Will do... whatever antichristian things he was doing down there. Travis started crying crocodile tears and hugged his knees while I laid on the floor looking exhausted.

Eventually, Will stormed into the kitchen, his arms folded. "What have you idiots been doing while I was in the basement?!" he growled, staring at us like he just caught us doing drugs.

"W-w-we l-lost S-Sauce..." Travis sniffled, choking on his melancholic tears as he wiped the dirt off his face.

"...I can't feel my bones..." I sighed quietly, not moving a single inch from where I lay on the floor.

Will's stone-cold gaze moved to a bit of a concerned stare as he examined us. He took a couple steps closer, perhaps to look at us easier. "Travis, your arm looks-"

"IT'S ALL I HAVE LEFT OF SAUCE!!" he howled, holding his arm in pain. "It hurts... b-but I deserve it... I'm sorry, Saaaauce..." he sniffled.

"Travis, stop it. I know where Sauce is. He ran into the basement. You can quit whining now." He helped Travis onto his feet, and then looked down at me. "Did you really force BB to search for you? He looks dead."

"...I've been dead for a while," I sighed, holding up an okay-hand from my grave on the floor.

Will took my okay-hand and helped me stand up, carrying my flimsy body by my shirt collar to make sure I didn't fall back onto the floor. "Yeah, let's get you two cleaned up."

"W-what about Sauce...?" Travis sniffled, still holding onto his arm. He probably realized how severely it's been lacerated once it was out in the open for this long.

"Sauce is safe. I need to make sure you two are safe as well. I'll go into the basement and get him later," he sighed, dragging us both to the bathroom.
Travis tilted his head a little, wiping his tears away. "C-can't I go get him right now...? I... I w-won't let him tear up my arm again..."

Will just shook his head, leaning me against the wall like a broomstick. Alas, just like a broomstick, I fell right over and made the floor my home once more. "The basement is off-limits for a while, okay? I have more free time now, so I'll get Sauce really soon."

"B-but the b-basement is where I k-keep my spider nest..." It seems like Travis is using any excuse he can muster to get into the basement. Including a spider nest, for some reason.

"...Why do you have a spider nest in the basement?" He raised a confused eyebrow at the bizarre statement, but then shook his head. "No, I know better than to question you. I'll care for your... spider nest until the basement's back open."

"You're gonna kill theeeem!!!" he sobbed, hugging himself to try and soothe this injustice Will has caused.

Will just pinched the bridge of his nose as he went to go get the first-aid kit from the cabinet. "I'm going to kill yoooouuuu.... with kindness. Now roll up your sleeve so I can get this over with."

I couldn't wait much longer, so I sat up and started wiggling around my disconnected arm in the air. "Will, my arm fell off when I landed on the floor. What do I do with it?"
