Kace Hollander's POV

I watch as Lexa strides away towards the eight oblivious guards to knock them down. I know without a doubt that she is more than capable to defeat them; I know what I said was untrue.

She's mesmerizing when she fights. Her skill is flawless, her speed and strength is impeccable. With confidence and control lingering her every move, she dominates the battlefield with ease on her part.

Her powerful steps leave me in awe, and her intelligence leaves me in disbelief that such a strong woman even seizes to exist. There's nothing about that devious little devil that I'd wish to change. She's perfect as she is and the tragedies she's been through has only turned her to who she is today.

Watching her in battle turns me on more than I'd care to admit. Granted, many things about her turn me on, but there's something about the way she so freely lives as she conquers her enemy and does what she does best that makes me want to claim her all over again.

But I know I can't have her, and there's nothing to change that.

My trance soon ends as I feel a shove on my shoulder. I snap my head back to see one of the guards standing behind me in confusion, followed by the other four guards behind him. Wanting to go back to watch the little devil, I don't bother letting him speak as I quickly shoot all of them with deadly precision, leaving them to drop dead on the floor.

I turn back around to Lexa, and watch her vanquish the last remaining guard with an intricate thigh choke trick. She lands perfectly in stance, and uses her heel to finish him off. Leave it to Lexa to use a designer heel for murder.

She walks to another guard and finishes him by smashing his head against the butt of a rifle. She stands unharmed in the middle of the crime, and I admire the image of the art work seeing her tower with pride as her opponents are fallen on the floor.

Her gray irises hold her usual murderous glint as she commends her work, slightly biting her lip while smirking. It's a cute habit of hers, done when she kills, that I've happened to notice. And I'm sure she does it subconsciously.

She strides her way back to be, knowing she's flawlessly proven her point.

"Enjoyed the show?" she seductively asks with a smirk as she slightly tilts her head to the side while looking up at me. It seems that murder brings out her flirtatious side.

"More than you know," I flirtatiously respond before I motion with my head to another large group of guards.

We analyze the field, figuring the best tactic would be to climb up the base and fire from above. We quietly crawl through the maze, discreetly heading towards an easy wall to climb.
I allow her to step up first while I keep look out from the guards.
