BTS: Behind The Scenes

"Safffffffrrrrrrronnnnnnnn! Hey SAFF! Can you give me a ride to practice pleaseeee? My car's in the shop and Manager hyung can't come pick me up!"

My twin, "older" brother Taeyong is, in his words, "a whole 3 minutes" older than me but I feel like his older sister sometimes. 

Sighing, I grab my keys and my jacket. 

"I got you, let's go Tyong," I say as I head over to Taeyong.

In the car, we jam to some new songs. An unfamiliar song comes on, and I ask Taeyong what song it is.

"What?? This is BTS, their new song, uh, 'ON' from their new album. It's pretty good, don't you think?", Taeyong informs me.

Nodding, I think to myself. 'It is good,' but I've never been too interested in other boy groups, or groups in general unless my brother was involved with them, so that included BTS. As the song comes to an end, I pull up to SM Entertainment, and Taeyong slides on his hat and mask. He reaches over to mess up my hair, and smiles. 

"Love you sis, I'll see you later. Thanks for the ride!", he says as he opens the door to leave.

My brother is the amazing performer... leader of NCT. The Taeyong Lee. 

His best friend is (still) Jackson.

I've always wondered how they do it. How they manage to still be such great friends with their hectic schedules. But I'm so glad they have each other. 

Eloise and I have had our rocky times but 25 year old Ellie and Saff are better than ever.

A couple of night later, I get a call from Jackson. Curious, I press accept, and instantly my ear is filled with Jackson's laid back voice. 

"Saff!! My girl~! How are you?," Jackson flirts with me, even through the phone. Same old Jackson.

Smiling, I answer him.

"Hi Jackson, I'm good, of course. What's up?"

"Well.......", he drawls out.

"TY and I have some free time tonight, so we were gonna meet in a few to hang out & eat at that barbecue place we always go to. Do you wanna come..? Cause we're meeting someone you've GOT to see!" 

'Awww.. It's really rare nowadays for Taeyong and Jackson to get to hang out like this, due to it being comeback season..', I think to myself. 

"Sure! I'm down! Oh, is Ellie coming too? We could probably go together if she is..", I ask.

"I already asked her but she has a work dinner.. She said she'll try to come by later if she can though!"

"Aw bummer. Well then I guess I'll see you at..??", I trail off, realizing he didn't even tell me a time.

"7! We'll meet you inside! Now go get ready! You always take forever!", Jackson says, laughing at me.

"Hey!!! That was years ago! I'm an adult now, mister! But okay, okay, I'll see you then!!", I hang up to go get ready, determined not to be late.
