okay, whew, it hasn't even been like 2 hours since my last blm post but i am PISSED. i'm so fucking disappointed in the celebrities i look up to or am a fan of,,,, i'm fucking fuming. so majority of the stranger things and it cast haven't posted anything about black lives matter. maya, natalia, charlie, dacre, millie, gaten, jack, i'm looking at you. and i'm fucking pissed because i'm fans of these guys, and i'm probably still going to be fans after this, but it's not going to be the same. i'm never going to forget they were completely silent. how the hell can you be a privileged celebrity with millions of followers and not post a single thing about what's going on ??? how the FUCK. and just then, sophia lillis, who actually posted about blm, just deleted all her posts and stories of it, and removed it from her insta bio. GIRL. the bar was SO low. 

and then i see caleb, priah, sofia bryant and chosen, who are all black, posting about how disappointed they are in their co-stars, in the people who they thought were their friends, liking comments criticising their friends on not posting and i'm just like,,, wow. what shitty people half of the casts are.

and to be honest, all those celebs posting four days late using the excuse "i've been in shock", "i'm too upset to be on social media rn", "i've just been processing it", no the fuck you have not. none of us have. and we don't have nearly as big platforms as any of those celebs do. the bar was so fucking low and they couldn't even make that. they couldn't. and i know we shouldn't make this about celebrities, because this is about black lives matter, but i'm never going to forget that these people who were my faves, were silent. i kind of can't even stand to look at anymore. i'm so mad that they haven't spoken up. millie's been posting dumbass tiktoks, and maya's been posting about her music, and not a single thing about george floyd, or black lives matter. and then sophia lillis goes and deletes all her shit about it.

sofia bryant was literally tweeting about how their "white silence equates to violence" and how "A LOT OF Y'ALL SEEM TO BE HARD OF HEARING" because her co-stars, the people who are supposed to be her friends, aren't speaking up despite their massive privilege. caleb mclaughlin was liking comments on his posts about his co-stars saying "i hope your white af co-stars say something because this is ridiculous" and "it is so embarrassing how either one of them have said anything or done the bare minimum". he was LIKING those. imagine knowing your friends don't support the movement fighting for your race ????? what the fuck stranger things, it and ianowt cast ??? why the fuck are you being so silent right now ?? i'm not hearing you ???? hello ??????????

i've lost so much fucking respect, honestly. i can't think about them w/o being angry. posting "black lives matter" or donation or petition links would have been literally the bare minimum,, they couldn't even be bothered. no they "weren't trying to find the words", they've picked a side. i'm so disappointed to see my faves being silent. i can't stand them now. fuck any celebrity who's not speaking out about it, y'all picked a side. silence is violence and you chose that. fuck you. i don't even care anymore.
