Under the vast starless sky, Yoongi waited for his friend the moon ever watchful and reliable unlike the humans in his life. He wanted to go back to the time when he was peaceful and his mind wasn't constantly buzzing with thoughts of her and what she thought of him. You would think there were dark clouds in the sky with how dark his expression was. The reason for his vexation was that his dear Jina was not answering her phone and he was terribly worried about her. He glanced at her apartment for the umpteenth time, seething inside at the thought that Jaden might have convinced her to stay with him. Why else would Jina not respond?
Yoongi knew Jina loved him. She expressed it in so many ways, so why was this happening. His mind was like a raging storm, dark and demanding that he do something. Making up his mind he got up and walked towards her apartment. If they were finished, he needed to know as soon as possible. He was ashamed of his willingness to be humiliated. To be told in front of him that she no longer wanted to see him.
Yoongi was spared this humiliation when no one came to the door. He called out to the little dog but not even a whimper could be heard. Not knowing what to do, he sat down to wait by the door. The whole experience had a deja vu quality that he pondered while he waited. Where could she be and where is Molly. He scanned the courtyard for any sign of their presence only serving to increase his anxiety. Wringing his hands in frustration, he sat and waited.
The moon was out now and so were the voices. He sits there in his heartache, the demons inside demanding to be released. Yoongi's anxiety and fear fed the monster that he was unable to control. How could he? He was just a weak human soul at odds against a controlling demon. Yoongi wasn't even aware that he didn't have amnesia. When the demon took over his body, Yoongi had no memory of the events except for a nagging fear that it was not a dream but something far worse wrong with him. He sometimes had memories of things from a past he knew he had never experienced or had he? His biggest fear was that he was going crazy.
Suddenly he got up, sweat dripping down his face in spite of the biting chill of the evening. He had an unclear vision of Jaden covered in blood. Was this awful thought just a vision brought on by jealousy or had Yoongi actually killed the guy? Shivering with presentiment, his heart thumped in his chest as he began to cry and bang on the door to their apartment. No, this can't be true, this can't be happening!
The building manager came running, after receiving calls about Yoongi's distress. He had told the people he would check it out before calling the police. With wide eyes, he stared at Yoongi's bloody knuckles wondering what to do.
"What's going on?" The manager demanded.
"I heard a scream," Yoongi lied so the guy would open the door.
With shaking hands, the guy fumbled with the keys on his belt till he found the right one.
The door swung open to a peaceful quiet apartment, but the signs were there. Their things were scattered on the floor, a broken lamp, torn photos everywhere, but no blood. Thankfully, no blood. Yoongi rushed past the man that was already calling the police.
Trembling in the shackles of fear, Yoongi found her unmoving form. A cry escaped his lips, in anguish. The demons inside ripping through his soul ready to tear anyone that got in his way. He gently touched her bloody face hoping that she was still alive. He almost fainted from relief when her eyelids fluttered, sad eyes looking up at him. Wiping the blood from her eyes his own vision blurred by his tears. He removed her gag and bonds and gently wrapped his arms around her.
"My love!" His voice broke with emotion.
"In here!" He yelled to the guy, "call an ambulance."
Jaden had hurt his dear Jina and had tied her up so she couldn't leave him. He better watch out, cause Yoongi could not control the demons inside demanding revenge.
