Hi everyone, SK here; welcome to The Fairy's Poison, sequel to The Fairy's Cure.

I do hope that you're excited to read this book!  I know that I'm excited to write it.  There are a few things I'll say before we start though.

1. This book, unlike its predecessor, is MATURE.  Please keep this in mind as you read (I will be sure to mark the extra mature parts for you still).
2. If you have headphones, I highly recommend listening to the music with each part!
3. Things set up in the first book are gonna get shattered here, including its happy ending.
4. Keep an open mind, and be ready to catch all the feels I'm going to throw at you. ;)

What kind of intro is that?  Yeah, I know. XD

With that in place, let's begin!  I hope you enjoy chapter one.

"We need to run. There's somewhere safe I can take you, but right now you need to run."

"He's chasing me... he's going to kill me!"

"You will never hurt her again."

"Thank you, thank you so much for saving me."

I wake up with a jolt, sweat dripping down my brow.  Vague recollections of last night fill my mind, pieces of dialogue from what must have been the most insane night of my life.  I fill my lungs with air over and over, until the scenes fade away and I am left with an uneasy peace.  I stare blankly upwards, gazing at the soft-coloured birch of the room's ceiling as I sit up with a frown on my face.  My room doesn't have a birch ceiling!

In a flash I remember where I am.  I'm not in my room, or even my world.  Last night I was taken away by a fairy into his world, somewhere where I could be safe, protected.  I went with him, of course I would.  For almost a full year now he's been visiting me every single day, and we're like the best of friends.  I trust him.  August has done so much for me, and I love him for it.

Oh... did I just say that?

Well, I'm not one to take things back.

Last night was the first time I'd ever seen his face.  He'd always hidden it from me; if I were to make a guess it's because he wasn't supposed to be talking to me, a human girl.  I remember how he looked at me with those dashing blue eyes of his, his dark honey-coloured hair waving in the wind...

I just realized that I've slept the whole night in a hot guy's bed.

With a squeak I try to throw the covers off and leave the bed out of sheer embarrassment, but somehow I end up pushing myself off the bed instead.  I roll onto the floor with a small crash, and I wince in pain.  What a great way to start of the morning, Valerie.

I push myself off the wooden floor, rubbing my forehead as I do so.  I brush some dust off my dress, which to be honest I'm surprised I slept so comfortably in it.  It's a short white dress that comes up a little past my knees.  There's a small line of blue around the edge of the skirt, neckline, and sleeves as well; a winding of purple ribbon is fitted around my waist to complete the dress.  Glancing over, I see my purple flats sitting neatly beside the foot of the bed.  I slip them on, my bare feet fitting into them snugly.

I take this time to walk around the room, wanting to explore a bit.  His room is a lot different than mine.  His room looks so mature, with a pale blue colour for the walls and a light birch wood for the ceiling and flooring.  Mine, on the other hand, is a bright purple with Pokemon posters all over the walls-
