Chapter 10: Waking Up With Amnesia

"My best friend?" You said curiously

Ai nodded, he was still your boyfriend, but he couldn't say that to you.

"What's your name?" You asked him

"My name's Ai." He answered

"Where have I heard that name before?" You thought, "Maybe I knew him before, but not now......"

You smiled at him, "I really like your name! Ai-Chan!"

He chuckled, "I guess we'll have to start all over, huh?" He said to himself

"Hey Ai......." you said as he looked at you, "What was I like before?" You asked

He thought for a moment, "Well, you were always a kind person and always tried your hardest in finishing your work." He smiled as he remembered something

You smiled, "Wow, really?"

He nodded, "You were also.......... very important to me.........." His smile disappeared

You were confused, "I was important to you?"

He shook his head, "Don't worry about it."

His face saddened

You frowned and hugged him tightly, "I hope I get my memories back and still be important to you." You said softly

He hugged you back, "You still are important to me, even if you don't have your memories."

You smiled slightly and yawned, "You tired?" He asked

You nodded and lied down on the bed. Ai covered you with the blanket and kissed your forehead, "Sleep tight, Lily......" He said as he held your hand.

As you slept you had a dream of you and Ai walking around an aquarium.

"Is this a memory of mine?" You thought

"So you two are dating!" A voice said

You looked around and saw another memory, a brunette, a silver, and blond haired guy were surrounding you and Ai.

"Dating? Was Ai my boyfriend?" You thought, "No, he said he was just my best friend........."

"But he also said that I was important to him......." you thought

You then saw another memory of Ai kissing you for the first time under the moonlight.

"Maybe he really was my boyfriend........" you said softly

"I love you Lily........" you heard Ai's voice

You suddenly said, "I love you too Ai....."

Suddenly, you woke up, and Ai was sleeping on your lap next to you.

You looked out the window and the sun was coming up.

Ai picked up his head and looked at you.

"Goodmorning, did you sleep well?" Ai asked

You nodded, "Umm, can I ask you something?"

He nodded, "Was I your girlfriend before I got amnesia?" You asked

He widened his eyes, now he didn't know what to say.

"Is that a yes?" You questioned

He sighed and nodded slowly.

"How did you know?" He asked

You thought for a moment, "When I was asleep, I regained some of the memories of you and me."
