Chapter 20: Protecting You From Danger

Today, you were walking around the building, trying to find Ai.

"Where is he??" You said as you walked around, "He wasn't in his room........."

You spotted a familiar cyan haired guy standing on the balcony.

"Ai! I've been looking everywhere for you!" You ran up to him and when he faced you, it wasn't Ai.

"Oh, it's you Aine." You said sadly

He pouted, "Are you not happy to see me Lily-chan?" He crossed his arms

You giggled, "Have you seen Ai anywhere?"

Aine nodded, "He said he wanted to do something first and ran out really quickly."

"What?" You had a confused look on your face, "Do you know what he wanted to do?"

Aine shook his head, "He didn't say anything after that."

You sighed and as you turned to leave, Aine grabbed your wrist, "I don't get a hug?" He asked cutely

Smiling a little, you gave him a hug and he hugged you tightly, "Its like the two of you are inseparable." He chuckled

You looked up at him and he looked down at you, "You two really do love each other a lot." He smiled warmly

"Yeah........ we do........" you said happily, relaxing into his arms

He let go of you and you took a step back, "Well, I guess I have to wait for Ai today until he comes back." You sighed

"Why were you trying to look for him anyways?" Aine asked

"Because the midterms are coming up!" You said out loud

He widened his eyes, "Ahhh! I totally forgot about that!!" He made a dash into his room to study for the midterms

You shook your head in disbelief, "I can't believe he's actually Ai's brother........" you said to yourself

You looked around the place from the balcony and you didn't see Ai anywhere.

But....... you did see something..........

"Hmm? What's that?" You said curiously

You leaned over the railing to look closer and you squinted your eyes.

Suddenly, someone pushed you from behind and you fell from the balcony

When you looked behind to see who pushed you, it was a man with a black hooded cape, it covered his face so you didn't know who it was.

As you fell, you shut your eyes tightly, waiting for the impact to come, but it never came.

You opened your eyes slowly, and felt two warm arms wrapped around you.

Looking at who just saved you, it was Ai.

"Baka, you could've been killed!" He said angrily

"B-But someone pushed me off....." you look up at the balcony and no one was there anymore

"Why would anyone push you off? I don't think they'd have a reason to......." Ai said

You looked at him with worried eyes, "Ai, what if someone's trying to target me?"

Ai widened his eyes, "No, don't worry. I'll protect you from this person........" He held onto you tightly for reasurrence

"By the way, what were you doing these past few hours?" You asked

Ai sweat dropped, "N-Nothing, I just bought something.........."

You looked at him curiously, "A-Anyway, since you're still scared of this person, why don't you sleep with me in my room tonight?" Ai said trying to change the subject
