Chapter 3-Ring
Nakabusangot ang mukha ko buong lunch namin. Eh pa'no ba namin kasi, Liam will glance at me time by time and he will cover his mouth to stiffle his laugh.
I somehow feel him. Pero I'm sure na di naman ako susugod if makita ko yung bago ni Liam. Titirahin ko lang patalikod, ipapakulam ko ganun. Joke. But yeah, #teamsawi kami ni pareng Joem.
"Maycee!" I turned to her and smiled.
Ayos, blooming. Alam na.
"Oh, bakit?"
She said. I raised my brow by hearing that place. Tingnan mo nga naman...
"Talaga? Whose idea is that?" I asked calmly. But deep inside, I am freaking out. Shit naman. Why of all places, dun pa nila naisipan? Pwede namang sa Gaspar o sa Maniwaya.
"I don't know. Dadating daw si Elise e, alam mo namang paborito n'ya dun. Kaya siguro pinagbigyan na nila." She answered while fidgeting on her phone.
I am moving on so, I got this. For Joem. For my friends. And for me.
"NAKAHANDA na ba yung nga damit mo?" My mother, Irene, asked while we're eating dinner.
I lifted my hands and gave her a thumbs up. On my peripheral vision, I saw her rolled her eyes. I just ignored her and continued eating. Sarap ng ulam eh.
"Anong grade ka na nga, anak?" My father, Ian, suddenly asked. I pouted my lips. How could he not know?
"Grade 10 po, why?" I answered with my forehead creased. I bet he doesn't even know my birthday! I don't know if it's just that he's old and he's already forgetting things or he just really don't have any idea about me!
"Oh? really?" He asked na parang di makapaniwala. I frowned. They are really my bullies! I puffed in annoyance.
I glared at Mama who was laughing really hard. I rolled my eyes at her. What a kid!
After eating dinner, I hurriedly go back to my room because, first, I will double check my things and second, to avoid my bully parents whose still teasing me about my height. Whatever.
