"What is it.." I said awkwardly
"I'm sorry for all the ways I've been acting towards you, you've still been there for me even with it all, and I just wanted to say I'm sorry, and I'll try better" he said looking at the floor, but before anything I just gave him a hug
"Aw, but seriously, you were a full blown dick" I said laughing as we continued walking
"Because soemthing happened, and I couldn't speak to you about it" I said stopping him, he turned to me
"What happened?" He said confusedly
"Me and berlin kissed.." I said, Denver paused for a moment
"You what" he said, I blushed, Denver shook his head
"For your own good, stay away from him, how are you seriously blushing, he was such a dick to you, and all of a sudden you kiss, has he even spoken to you" he said annoyedly
"I swear to god if he forces you" Denver added
"N, no, even though he started the kiss, I kissed back.." I said awkwardly
"Why!!" Denver said
"Becasue..I kind of liked it.." I said blushing, Denver shook his head and continued walking
"For me, please stay away, he's not the guy you want to mess around with" Denver said, as when we got to the hall where Arturo was he was on the phone, Berlin looked back to me and smiled but I just awkwardly looked away
"I promise, it will all be better okay, I've been selfish, for 10 years you've been saying how much you want to see your sister in Australia, and maybe the kids can learn English and travel, and see kangaroos, it's the first thing we'll do when I get out of here, I'll do it for you because I love you so much" Arturo said
Denver shook his head as he crushed up the note in his hands, i couldn't help but think what the actual fuck is wrong with Arturo
Berlin smiled as he listened to Arturo spit lies to his wife
"The years I spent chasing, for the things I worked for, like status and money, when the only thing that maters is you, it's always been you, since the day I met you, you know sometimes I try, I try remember that day, and I wonder what the hell you saw in me monica-"
Berlin laughed as he looked back to us, I just shook my head as I sat down on one of the benches
"Laura." Arturo added, me and berlin gave each other a funny look, because literally how is Arturo going to call his wife a different name, and then say his wife's name..
The call ended and Berlin took the phone from him
"You've got some balls on you arturo, your secretary's pregnant, with your baby, laurita is waiting for you in the suv with the kids, your surrounded by cash, man your a legend" Berlin said laughing, Arturo looked away
"Berlin the doctors are outside" Nairobi said walking in, berlin nodded and too the mask off of arturos stomach
"If you'll excuse me" he said as he walked away, I looked to Denver who was staring at the floor and to Rio who couldn't stop laughing
And back to Arturo, an awful excuse of a man
His supposed beloved, is bleeding out in a safe, but just because he thinks she's dead he goes back to his wife, what a fucking disgusting person
"Everyone know their jobs" Berlin said walking down the line of hostages
"Yes of course, everyone knows what to do" Nairobi said, berlin stopped at Mercedes
"Mercedes..are you ready?" He asked, she nodded
"Of course sir" she said, Berlin nodded and looked to Alison
"I want her out of here..Rio?" He said, Rio took Alison out
"Now we all put our masks on. And follow me" Nairobi said walking our, the hostages followed after her and Berlin paused, he turned around to look at me and then followed after Nairobi
We heard the doors open and I turned to Denver
"Get it, and go" I whispered to him, he nodded and when we saw the surgeons walk back in Denver got in between them
While Berlin watched from next to Arturo, Nairobi stood watching as well, and Tokyo behind us on the stairs
The heart monitor beeped and I just waited for it to finish, Berlin walked around staring at me
"What anaesthetics are you using?" Berlin asked as he paused
"When in hurry full sedition is better" the surgeon said
"No. Better if you use local anaesthesia, so me and my friend Arturo can talk during surgery" Berlin said
I raised my eyebrow at him, as I heard him chuckle, Arturo groaned as it went into his body, I looked away because I couldn't handle how painful it looked
Berlin looked up to me and smiled
"Arturo it'll all be over soon, and when your done you can go back to Laura" I said, Arturo turned to me
"Shut the fuck up" he said angrily, I smiled at him and back to Berlin who was grinning at me, he stared at me so attentively, as if he was studying me with his eyes
