"Hey, Dr. Carlisle?" Dr. Palmer calls to a man standing at the nurse's desk reading a patient report. He turns around when he hears his name called facing me and the doctor.
"This is Y/n she's a new nurse I was hoping she could shadow you today?" Dr. Palmer questioned
"Of course," Carlisle smiles compassionately towards Dr. Palmer and me with a nod of his head.
"Thank you." Dr. Palmer says as he walks away.
"Hi." I smile kindly
"Hello... Walk with me," he says after looking around
"Okay." I follow Carlisle to an unoccupied nurses rest ward, he closes the door after I walk in.
"Is there a reason you're here?" Carlisle questions with a stern type of look.
"What a warm welcome, hello to you too," I say sarcastically while looking up at him.
"We have a reputation here, we have agreements with the wolves and as of right now I don't know what your intentions are-"
"Calm down I know all about your peace treaty with The Quileute Tribe.I won't get in your way I don't drink human blood and I'm quite good at keeping secrets."
"Wheres your coven?" Carlisle asks
"I've been on my own since 1501, I don't have a Coven," I answer
"I still don't know if I can trust you."
"Well, are you going to do anything about it?" I question stepping up to him. He looks at me with this look in his eye.
"I don't want a fight. But if it comes to that I won't hesitate-"
"You know this whole I wanna be intimidating but I'm really just a huge teddy bear act is real cute. Like I said before I'm not here to cause any trouble. I'm just here."
"I just want to make sure." Carlisle explains
"Okay well Dr. Cullen if it's so important to you, How about I go hunting with you and your coven. You can keep an eye on me and make sure I'm doing everything right." I suggest with a touch of sarcasm.
"I think that's the safest option. At least for a few months"
"Okay." I say patting his shoulder, "So, should we start with a tour?"
