Ahsoka was standing on the edge of a building, although, she wasn't quite sure that it was indeed her who was standing there. For everything seemed lower due to her increased height, and she certainly didn't have any recollection whatsoever of getting to where she was now, and she was positive she didn't sleep walk... The last thing she remembered was laying her head down to sleep inside the hotel room. The one she shared with Lux.

"I must be seeing through someone else," Ahsoka concluded thoughtfully as she continued to gaze through the individual's eyes, watching the remaining vehicles zip through Coruscant's streets a fair distance away. The sector that she surveyed now was completely empty, and no sounds were to be heard, save the light, drifty breeze, and the faraway spacecrafts.

Ahsoka then felt her sight lower as she brought her body closer to the rooftop, positioning herself so that she lay on her stomach, propping herself up steadily on her elbows, all the while keeping her thoughts quiet as she processed the scene. The experience was beyond weird, but she didn't have the slightest clue of what she was supposed to do otherwise.

Her eyes then pinpointed a familiar window, and Ahsoka recognized it as one of the many inside the hotel room that she, and Lux, were in.

The night's breeze sifted through the opening, parting the curtains so that she could see inside. The way she remembered it, the window was positioned horizontally on the wall beside her bed. The height it was at made it so that it hid her from view, but no matter how you looked at it, you were free to see the rest of the space inside. Her eyes remained trained on it a little longer, and she felt her insides flutter as she caught sight of Lux, laying on his side, with his back to her while he slept.

Her arms then moved out in front of her, and Ahsoka noticed that she was holding something in her hands. Momentarily looking down to reposition it in her grip, she felt her body freeze. It was a sniper rifle, and the fact that she held it so carefree in her grasp made her feel slightly sick.

"Oh, no," Ahsoka realized as she quickly added two and two together. "I'm going to shoot Lux-!"

Ahsoka shot from the bed, her senses wide awake and her eyes bright with a sudden energy that she hadn't felt before. And as she dwelled on it for a second longer, she realized that it was nothing but panic that coursed through her veins.

"Lux!" She shouted, springing from her mattress and rolling across the floor, making sure to retrieve her lightsabers from on top of the dresser as she passed by. As she leaped onto Lux's cot, careful not to step on him, she activated her sabers and readied them in her hands, her gaze glued to the window on the far side.

"A...Ahsoka?" Lux stuttered groggily as he was jolted from his slumber, "...What's going on?" He inquired hastily, his eyes large at the sight of Ahsoka's ignited blades.

"Stay down." She snapped, sparing him a quick glare before returning her gaze towards the target.

A few moments went by, with nothing but the everlasting hum of Ahsoka's lightsabers to fill the void. It seemed to be that whoever was going to make their move, decided against it the second Ahsoka jumped in to stop it.

"Care to tell me now?" Lux pressed as an agreeable amount of time passed, and Ahsoka lowered her weapons with a sigh.

"Sorry-It's just...I had a dream." She explained, quickly deactivating her lightsabers, continuing to hold them as her hands went limp at her sides. "Someone was about to shoot you." She added as she hopped from Lux's bed and onto the floor. "...I just had to make sure you were safe."

"Oh," Lux responded, not quite sure of how to react. "...Well, I give you my deepest thanks," He offered with a slight smile, although still shaken.

Ahsoka simply remained quiet, lost in thought.

"There's a chance that the dream was real," She spoke aloud, talking to no one in particular. "But...there is also a chance that it was just a figment of my imagination..."

"What do you suggest we do?" Lux questioned after a brief pause.

"Well, we can't change rooms, seeing that the lobby closed a long time ago..." Ahsoka replied slowly, her gaze still locked on the window as she spoke. "But, you're going to have to change beds. That window gives anyone an invite to come and shoot you, and I can't let that happen."

"Alright...But where will you sleep?"

"On the floor." Ahsoka answered plainfully, ignoring Lux's dumbstruck face. "I'm used to it," She assured, placing her lightsabers back on top of the dresser.

"Oh, Ahsoka," Lux argued, shaking his head as he came to stand beside her. "If there's anyone who should get a decent sleep, it's you."

"The damage is already done, Bonteri," Ahsoka replied with a smirk as she took the extra blanket from the closet and one of the pillows from the bed, carefully placing them on the floor in between the two mattresses. "Besides, who said I wasn't going to get a decent sleep?"

Lux simply sighed, rolling his eyes. "You are a very difficult woman, Ahsoka."

"Thanks for the compliment, Lux." Ahsoka smiled playfully, tucking herself in on top of the carpeted floor. It wasn't the most luxurious place to sleep...but she's endured far worse.

The pair then fell silent as, one by one, they succumbed to the heavy blanket of sleep, and nothing but the peaceful sound of their soft breathing filled the air...
