Ahsoka woke to the sound of an alarm airing across the room. Startled, she lifted her head, careful not to scare Lux as he stayed snuggled against her side with his head burrowed into the crook of her neck.

Furrowing her brow slightly with annoyance, she reached over and neutralized the sound that was ringing from the datapad on top of the dresser. She knew they both had to get up soon, considering today was the day of the conference, and the last thing she wanted was for Lux to be late, which would result in him being more stressed out than he already was.

But, as Ahsoka slowly sank her head back into the pillows, her gaze was trained on Lux and his peaceful features, a smile threatening to spread across her face..."Five more minutes." She reasoned guiltily, momentarily closing her eyes as she breathed in his scent of green forests and tingly mint...

Last night, after Lux had managed to finally calm down, the two had simply climbed into bed without a second thought. He was still extremely nervous, and Ahsoka wanted to help him in any way that she could...which just so happened to be cuddling to their heart's content.

...Their arms were now entangled around each other, with Lux huddling close to Ahsoka's frame like a lost duckling. "Maybe there is something between us." Ahsoka contemplated as she listened to his soft breathing, and she didn't even try to fight the thought... "Afterall, I did kiss him...that certainly has to mean something." She added as an afterthought.

"Lux?" Ahsoka muttered after a few minutes of silence, her eyes still closed while she enjoyed every last second she spent in Lux's embrace.

"Mmm?" Lux hummed, his cool breath fanning across Ahsoka's collarbone as he spoke.

"We have to get up," Ahsoka smiled sleepily, slowly wriggling her arms away from Lux as she tried to seat herself up, but Lux's hold only tightened. "You're going to be late for the conference." She pressed, rolling onto her back, her smile widening effortlessly as Lux nestled deeper into her chest.

"Alright..." Lux sighed after a minute passed, his eyes fluttering suddenly as the sun's light began to filter through the window above them.

Lux then proceeded to get up, unwinding his arms so that there was one on either side of Ahsoka's frame, supporting him in a way so that he was above her. He continued to linger there for a moment, his grey eyes soft as he gazed down at the togruta laying underneath him.

Ahsoka simply stared back, the faintest smile parting her lips as she found herself lost in the eyes of the handsome senator above her...The smallest rays of morning light creeped through the windows, dappling Lux in a light, golden glow. His eyes shone like pure silver, the color resembling a thousand stormy oceans inside their depths.

...And despite all the walls she's built up to keep her emotions to herself, Ahsoka let them all fall without a sliver of hesitation as Lux brought a hand to her cheek, his fingers resting against her jaw while his thumb traced the tattoo that adorned the side of her tinted face.

Ahsoka easily leaned into his touch, reminiscing in the feeling it gave her to feel his loving warmth. Affection, she noted, wasn't like what she remembered. The jedi had taught her that such passionate sensations could lead to her failure and put her against everything she's ever believed. "But I'm still a Jedi!" Ahsoka countered strongly, "I'm just...more...real than the others."

And Ahsoka considered that to be a good thing.

With that in mind, she effortlessly pushed away all the concerns and worries that had forever burdened her, and simply enjoyed the moment. Lux Bonteri was certainly someone she had feelings for, and there was no point in hiding it any longer.

So much so, Ahsoka quickly sat up, hastily closing the gap between the pair as her soft lips met his in the middle. Lux moved with her so that he was now kneeling on top of the mattress, with his hand still gently cupping her face.

...The kiss was short, sweet...but irresistibly soft. And as the pair broke away, their foreheads rested against eachother's, bright blue, oceanic eyes, meeting stormy grey ones.

"Was that the wake up call you had in mind, Bonteri?" Ahsoka smirked slightly, her gaze playful.

"No..." Lux replied thoughtfully, his thumb absentmindedly tracing circles against her skin. "That was even better  than what I intended."
