Chapter 17: The academy

Tsubaki pov

It's morning . Sasuke and Sora have already left , Naruto's still running cause he woke up late . Amaterasu's gone on a week long C-ranked mission . I'm reading a book with Aia on the couch . I heard a knock on the door so I open it to see...Tsunade?! "Tsunade! What are you doing here?" I ask her . She's one of my closets friends . She also knows my secret . She walks in and goes to the couch . "You have a child!" She asked. "No. I took in an Uzumaki, Three Uchihas and an orphan." I smiled . She looked surprise at how many kids I took in but nodded in understanding . "I ran into midnight. She won against me three times in a row . I just came to pick something up." Tsunade said . "Alright . Where did you leave it?" I questioned . She hasn't been here in 5 years so it has to be old . "That's the thing..." she said scratching the back of her head with a guilty smile . "I left it at the academy 15 years ago . It's somewhere in a classroom on the fourth floor . It has a few valuable items." She finished . I'd thought when she said valuable then that means she's going to trade whatever's in there for money . Money means gambling , gambling n means sake , sake means losing , losing means a depressed Tsunade . A depressed Tsunade meant Sad Shizune. I sighed "sure... just don't spend it all at one time." I said rubbing my temples . What can I say ? I'm old . We walk in a comfortable silence and wave when people will say hi . The fourth floor of the academy is abandoned so it should be easy to find. Once we reach the academy we walk in and get off stares . Probably because the way we're headed is the abandoned floor . Shit . Fuck . I FORGOT AIA !!! I ran down the stairs as fast as I could . Which was pretty fast if a do say so myself . I was back inside the house in under five minutes then out with Aia on my back. I ran back and was where I left in five minutes too . I realizeed that Tsunade still went ahead so I caught up with her . She gave me an odd look before shrugging it of then we went back to the search .

One hour later

We haven't found anything . It's hopeless . "Found it!" Tsunade yelled from another classroom . I went inside and saw that it was a box . She opened it and it had photos of her back in the past . I was shocked that it was just photos and not anything worth money . "These were always so valuable to me..." she said as Tsunade hugged the box close to her . Inside we're pictures of the old days . Her , Orochimaru , Jiraiya and Hikaru as genin , then Jonin . A photo of her and her loved one , brother , and one of me , Tobirama and Mito . Everything was perfect back then . I miss when it was like that , the old days. Tsunade turned to me then took out a small album and put it in my hands . "Here . These mean more to you Then me ." She said . I shook my head . "I can't . These photographs are whats left of your past . Unlike me, you can die . Hold onto the memories you have and still make new ones to cherish ." I told her . It was true . Tears brimmed you in her eyes then she hugged me . "Tsunade...I can't breath..." she chuckled then let me out of her booby death grip . Hehe. Booby . We walked down the halls and finally reached outdoors . There was a class out then I saw it was Naruto , Sasuke and Sora's . Iruka looked over to see us . He waved making the whole entire class stare . Some boys drooled and girls glared at me being prettier then them . Stop wasting your tome thinking about being pretty and be a ninja . "Tsubaki!" Sasuke called and waved with a smile . He looked a little like naruto . Sora smirked at me and naruto had a grin . Everyone was caught off guard by Sasuke smiling . I heard he had never smiled in the academy before . Some girls drooled and blushed madly . It was kinda silly and cute . I waved back before leaving with Tsunade . That reminds me . I remember Tsunade's dad saying he named her after me . Tsubaki .
