Chapter 20: The C-rank mission of Midnight

3rd pov

Sasuke and Sora were currently walking Aia to the academy. She didn't want to go and just be trained by Tsubaki but she had no choice . "Hey!" Someone called out from behind them . It was Naruto with Sakura and Kakashi. Aia waved since she met the group after they were paired with her siblings . Next to Naruto was a kid that looked Aia's age. It was the third Hokage's grandson, Konohamaru. "Hey boss! Who's that?" Konohamaru asked. He had never met Aia before today. "That's my rivals Lil'sister!" Naruto said . "I still don't wanna go." Aia pouted to Sora . She sighed "you have to or you can't be a shinobi. Trust me. It was a pain for me and Sasuke cause we were in a class with Naruto." Sora said to her . "I think you'll do fine." Kakashi said patting her head like Sora does . Konohamaru ran over and pointed a finger at Aia "Aia Uchiha ! Your my new Rival! I won't lose!" He yelled at her . Aia smiles at him . "I think you will!" She said in a deadly cold voice making the little Sarutobi flinch . She looked up to her siblings "I think I'm good now." Aia grinned . She walked into the academy with no other problem except the boys drooling over her . "Is it always like that?" Kakashi asked the two Uchiha twins. They nodded before walking off . They had more lame missions to do.

Midnight pov

I'm in the land of waves now from my journey . I'm gonna stop in Konoha sooner or later so I can see Aia and everyone else . I saw Sasuke and Sora's team so I hid in the tree and watched them . When Naruto was going to get hit by a claw I jumped down and stabbed him n the chest with a Kunai . Then back away on a tree branch . Kakashi took care of the rest . "Who are you?!" A pink haired girl asked . Sasuke looked over at her then she shit her mouth . "Midnight-San!" Naruto called . Sora smirked when she saw me and Kakashi waved with an akward smile . "Hi." I said then left . Actually , I didn't leave . Kakashi and Naruto have such bad luck that I don't trust them on the same team and everything will be alright . Sasuke and Sora are responsible but I don't know about the pink haired girl . For one, PINK. It looks like they're on an escort mission . Great . Here comes the hard part . Water . I turned into a dragon then went above the clouds so they couldn't see me . I listened carefully as they talked about this actually being an A-ranked mission instead of C . And there's a guy named Gato after the bridge builder. Wow . They really do have bad luck . When they got on land I transferred back into a human in mid-air then landed silently on a tree . I watched as Naruto he threw Kunai at  the bush . I jumped to another tree where the sword landed as kakashi said duck. "Well, Well of it isn't Lakashi Hata-" he was cut off by me kicking him of the blade . "I like the blade . I'll keep it." I said to myself . I guess the others heard me because  they sweatdropped . I jumped or the sword then pulled it out and walked away . "Hey! Give me back the blade!" Zabuza said forming handsigns. Once he was done four water clones came out nowhere. I slapped my tail on the floor then a crack appeared on the ground and it dispersed . "What?!" He yelled . He cane at me with the intent to kill . Since he was bothering me I threw the sword in the air and left . What he didn't know was that it's a shadow clone of me in a transformation jutsu . As I walk through the forest most of the most clears and my eyes land on the village . I put on a cloak so they don't see my tail or horns . Bothersome humans, except Sasuke , Sora and Aia . Sorry Naruto . I heard Gato's here trying to kill the bridge builder. Maybe they'll think I'm one of his men patrolling the area .

They do . When I walk through the village I just get looks of fear . Some say 'please don't hurt me.' Or start shaking . Others look away. I turn into an alleyway and see a bunch of kids . All in rags and covered in dirt . Reminds me of Amaterasu . I think I'll take them . When the kids see me they all run into a dead path . I hold out my hand for them and take off my hood and smile . "I'm not Gato's men . One I'm a girl and two, I don't like him." I tried to explain . A few stopped shaking and others looked at my horns in awe . "Why should we trust you?!" One girl yelled . A black haired girl with permitting blue eyes . "You don't have to." I saw . I hold out my wallet to them . Spare wallet...this is the land of waves , I'm not going anywhere without two wallets. They still look wary so I throw it to the black haired girl and walk away . I know they're all following me so I lead them into the forest . "I know you're there . I'm a ninja for gods sake." I say half to myself half to them . They all come out. I start doing hands seals then slap my hands down on the ground . Up appears a cabin made out of wood . Tsubaki told me about it only being me left that has a natural wood release. I walk into hoping they'll follow and leave the door open . I'm getting too old and soft for this .

3rd pov

All the homeless children follow Midnight into the somewhat large house . There's furniture too . No dust or anything out of place . Everyone split up . Some went to the kitchen and ate ramen, others found a bedroom and slept . A few even found clothes to wear . Midnight was hiding as one of the orphans in a transformation jutsu . Then she hears the door open . Midnight looks behind her to see team seven with Tazuna and Kakashi in their arms . "What the heck?!" Narito yelled . Sora came over and bent down to my level . "Where are your parents?" She asked coldly . Saduke has a cold look too. I guess this is what they're like when the two are out with other people . I snicker then burt our laughing . Sora then uses her sharingan . "Midnight?" She asked curiously standing up . All the other kids stopped what Th eat we're doing to look at the scene in front of them . In a black poof, it was me ! "I gotcha! What happened to kakashi-Chan?" I asked them . Pink head and Naruto later him down on the couch . I sighed then walked over to him . I lifted up my balled hands then they waited to see what I was going to do to Kakashi-Chan . I got him in the guts making him jolt up a cough out blood through his mask. "Wake up!" I yelled . He started coughing some more like an old man then finally calmed down . He tries getting up but he was paralyzed from the hip under . "Do you have any crutches?" Kakashi-Chan asked nervously . I weaved some hand signs then out came crutches I threw at him . "Lay . You need rest." I told him . "Kakashi-sensei are you alright?!" The pinkette asked with where clear in her eyes . The best she can become is a medical nin by the looks of it . I shook my head. I'm letting Tsubaki's negativity get to me.
