Chapter 28: A-ranked mission part 2

3rd pov

By the break of dawn everyone had gotten up , packed, and left to start Their journey once more . they didn't face many issues except the princesses complaints and Naruto's . A few times they ran into bandits but nothing happened . They we're getting close to the land of cherry blossoms when they heard someone land behind them . Barely audible . The three that turned around were Kiba, Akamaru and Tsubaki . It was a man with long white hair and blue eyes . He had a huge Shuriken strapped on his back and had an emotionless look on his face . The man reached into his pouch making Akamaru and Kiba go on high alert . That got the rest of the genin's attention and they all went into fighting position . The guy took out a scroll with a seal on it . Said man threw it towards Tsubaki and she caught it with ease. Then the mysterious guy left in the blink of an eye. "Who the heck was that?!!?" Naruto yelled out to no one particular. "My spy in Orochimaru's base. He responds directly to me and not Konoha." Tsubaki told them all nonchalantly making them stare suspiciously and surprised at what she had said. Tsubaki has connections all over the world . From old granny Chiyo to Shinobi in the ANBU. She kept on going with the carriage following behind her. "If you had a spy why didn't she tell you about the attack?" Shikamaru asked her as they all were walking which caught everyone's attention. "She did. And that's why they retreated. Lord third knew he was going to fight Orochimaru but didn't know where he was." Tsubaki explained to them . Before they all even knew it the group had gotten to the kingdom inside the small nation . They entered the palace and led the royals to their parents . Thy all made it to the throne room and bowed when they saw the king and queen . The king raised his hand for them to lift their heads and they did . "You!" The young prince pointed to Tsu. "What's wrong my son?" The king asked him . He usually didn't speak out of turn or even yell in his presence . "Father! I want her hand in marriage!" All in the room were surprised at ha proposal. Then Tsubaki shook her head saying no. "And why not?" The king asked her . If his son said he wanted her he was going to get her. "I belong to Konoha . Not you." She stated blandly. The rookie ten thought she wasn't realizing she just said that to the king of a very resourceful nation . "Yeah! She's not marrying him!" Naruto yelled . Maybe nine realized . The prince started tearing up while the king had a displeased look on his face. "You will." "I will not." "You WILL marry MY SON!" He yelled at her . Tsubaki glared . "I will not marry your son." She said to him . The little bratty prince was now sobbing into his mothers formal robes. How pitiful. "Insolent brat! My king, I suggest we lock them up!" His advisor told him . "Some advisor you are!!" Naruto yelled pointing at him . The 'advisor' grew an Ro mark and barked orders at the guards . Tsubaki held onto all ten of them then puffed away back in at the border to the land of fire . "I'm never taking you on a mission with me again Naruto." Tsubaki said to the group . They looked taken aback at her harsh words then put Naruto on the guilt trip . Hinata couldn't decide between saving or dumping her crush. Narito knrw he fucked upstairs so they walked in silence all the way back to Konoha . Th e mission would've taken a week to and from but with the transportation jutsu things worked out easily . "Back already? That's a knee record for shinobi!" Like Tsu said to the depressed team. Naruto looked at them with his depressed face . Even sasuke and Sora were looked drained of all energy. "Who's gonna fell Tsunade about the mission?" Kiba asked . They didn't want to go and get yelled at the scary lady . All of them pointed to Kiba which made him regain his energy to glare at his teammates. Hinata seemed uncomfortable under his stare and Shino didn't seem to care. He begrudginglystomped to Hokage mountain. All of Konoha could hear yelling from the slug Sannin. Then everyone went Home. Or mostly everyone . "Hinata." Tsubaki asked the hyuuga girl . She turned around for her pale eyes to meet Tsu's small figure. "Y-Yes T-Tsu-San?" She managed to stutter out . For some reason, Himata was very shy. "Would you like to stay overnight? I think you'll like it." Tsubaki smiled at her. Hinata blushed at her comment and cute smile . They walked in a comfortable silence until they reached the house . Tsubaki opened the door to see Naruto on the couch throwing insults at Sasuke. Tsubaki cleared her throat and the two rivals looked up to see a blushing Hinata and a neutral Tsu.
