Blair had awoken the next morning after John B had already came back after returning the scuba gear to the Camerons. The first noise that had presented itself to her was the sound of the rooster crowing, she smiled lightly and let her eyes flutter shut again listening to the rooster she has so eloquently named 'Nugget'. The morning sun shone through the cheap curtains and illuminated her face in the light. As she lay there with her eyes closed she thought about the compass. How did her mother have it if it had been passed down John B's family? And why did she give it back to Big John? she was so worked up about it that she even contemplated the idea of asking her dad, she was that desperate for answers she fully considered asking her father because everything she thought she was sure of, she was becoming more and more confused. Her thoughts were interrupted by a thumping at the door and accompanied shouting.
"DCS! I know you're in there!" She heard from the front door. Her heart leapt into her throat and a feeling of dread plummeted to her stomach.
"John B." She whispered in a panic sitting up and running out if her bedroom and into the living room where he was currently sleeping. Blair and John B made worried eye contact as JJ suddenly jumped into the window as John B jumped and Blair screamed while covering her mouth.
"Gotcha slick." JJ managed out between breathless laughs as Blair glared at him and sat down already done with the day. "You should have seen your guys face. Your face was like..." JJ continued laughing putting his hands onto his face, copying the face Blair made as she stuck the middle finger at him and smiled sarcastically which made him laugh even more. The trio then made their way to the van to head out to Miss Lana's house to find some answers after Blair jumped on JJ and hit his chest multiple times for scaring her and John B . In the van John B was driving and JJ was in the front seat next to him as Blair had her arms wrapped around the neck of JJ's seat and had her head leaning on the shoulder as the two boys talked.
"Im just saying, I don't understand why you dont at least try with Kiara. She clearly likes you." JJ told John B as he tried to persuade him to make a move on Kiara. "She like 'oh John B'." JJ moaned as Blair hid her smirk in the seat.
"Is that what she does?" John B asked clearly annoyed by JJ's antics.
"Well I mean she was sketchy about you diving." Blair inputed as JJ looked at her and gave John B a 'see she gets it' look.
"Then she kissed you, bro." JJ added to Blair's point.
"She kissed me on the cheek, Blair does it all the time and I dont see you trying to tell anyone to make a move." John B added feeling quite proud of his point.
"Yeah but I'm not Kiara and I kiss everyone... she doesn't." Blair counter argued smirking at John B.
"Dont pretend that you dont notice. I see it in your eyes. You're like ' I kinda like that,' and you Strat blushing and shit." JJ said.
"That is 100% accurate. Full analysis excellent points well done JJ." Blair smiled at JJ as John B was done with the conversation, just as they finished, JJ reached forward and grabbed the compass that was sitting on the dash board.
