Brianna's POV
(Saturday morning)I had asked my dad to go to the bowling alley. He agreed but he only did because I left out the fact that boys would be there. My dad was hella strict.
I woke up early and had a bath then got dressed. I pulled on a blue washed out jeans, a white T-shirt and a plaid shirt over it with some white sneakers.I loved fashion but I couldn't wear any and anything when my parents were around. I can't wear crop tops, mini skirts, mini shorts, not even a ripped jean.
Yeah. Boring.I hurriedly said bye to my parents and hopped on the bus. Darrien offered to give me a ride but I explained that my dad would kill me if he saw me get into his car.
I arrived at the bowling alley and waited for them. They all arrived five minutes after I did.
I was introduced to Darrien's dad and I watched as Drew awkwardly hugged his dad. We went in and started to bowl. Things kinda got easier for them after a while. They started to talk and laugh.
"Strike!!" I shouted as I rolled the ball and it hit down all the pins. I high five everyone and moved to the back waiting for my turn again.
"Nice," I heard a familiar voice whisper. I spun around and was face to face with my crush.
"Hi," I mumbled. "Aaa. Thanks."
"If I knew you liked bowling I'd ask you out," Alexander said and I stood starring into his eyes. I giggled.
"Wait what?" I asked realizing he said ask me out.
"Yeah. I wanted to ask you out. I just didn't know what you liked," he said and I blushed. I smiled and looked down. "Probably I can still ask you out." He said placing his hand on my hips.Darrien's POV
I turned to see some guy flirting with Brianna. He placed his hand on her hips and I saw her shyly push hair from her face.
"Told you to ask her," Drew said realizing I was looking at her.
"Shut the F**k up!" I shouted and stormed off.Brianna's POV
I heard Darrien shout and he stormed pass me. I turned to look at the others as they watched him leave. His dad and Drew went after him.
"What's his problem?" Alexander asked. I turned back to look at him and shrugged. "So we can exchange numbers and we can meet up sometime."
"Sure," I answered and he smiled and kissed my cheek then walked away. I stood looking at him frozen.
"Ohhh. Cute," Leslie said taking me out of my transe.
"Yeah," I said still blushing.
"Boyfriend?" She asked
"No. More like a crush," I started. "Who just asked me out."
"Shut up! That's so sweet," she said making the awww face. "So how are you gonna explain that to your dad."
"I'm not," I said nervously pushing my hands in my pockets. "He doesn't know me and Leah aren't really friends. I'll just tell him I'm gonna hang out with them."
"Ok," she said and laughed. We waited then we saw the boys return. I walked up to Darrien.
"Everything ok?" I asked.
"Yeah," he said not even looking at me.
"Ok," I replied and we got back to playing.I got home around 3:00pm.
"How was bowling?" my mom asked as I entered the house.
"Good. I got a strike," I said walking up to her.
"Awesome," she said and I went back upstairs.I went upstairs and did home work then went to bed.
Monday morning I woke up to a text from Alexander.
I smiled and got dressed for school.
"Bri," Leah said as she found me in the arts room. I was working on my arts project.
"Hi," I answered still working.
"Look Bri. I'm sorry and I really just want my best friend back," she said and I looked up at her.
"So why are you still hanging out with her?" I asked
She hung down her head then said, "I don't know."
I looked at her and sighed loudly.
"We have been best friends from kindergarten. I don't want to throw our friendship away but it's really hard to trust you again," I said. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. "But I also don't want to throw away so many years of friendship."
She looked at me. "So you're gonna give me another chance?" She asked
"Yeah. Kinda miss my best friend," I said with a smile and she leaped and hugged me.
We sat talking and catching up. I told her that my crush and I are finally gonna go on a date.
