Two weeks later
My friendship with my best friends were kinda back to normal. I even introduced them to Leslie. She is quite a nice person and I love hanging out with her.
Alexander and I got close and since then went on two other dates.
I have been helping Darrien with math and so far he seemed to be catching on. We had a math test on Wednesday and he said he feels like he did well. It's Friday and our school will be playing my boyfriend's school. I pulled on a black jeans pants and a black and white T-shirt with my adidas sneakers.
I didn't want to wear my school shirt as I wanted to also support my boyfriend.
At 2:00pm we started to gather for the game to begin.
"I like how you're neutral," Leslie teases as we sat down.
"Shut up," I said hitting her arm. The game began at 2:30pm. The game was going good. Our school seemed to be winning. 3-2. But it was still a far way from ending.
After many near shots, screams and shouts the game came to an end with the other team beating us 7-5. I quickly walked to the field to congratulate my boyfriend. He smiled as he walked to me and lifted me spinning me around."I won!" He shouted then placed me back on my feet.
"Yeah. Congrats," I said with a smile.
He smiled and cup my face and kissed me. I wrapped my hands around him and kissed him deeply."Get a room," I heard my friends say. We stopped kissing and I turned to them.
"Alexander meet my friends, Leah, Taylor and Leslie," I said pointing them out.
"Nice to meet you," he replied. He gripped my waist and pulled me closer to him and whispered in my ear. "Can we celebrate later?"
"Don't know if I can,". I answered sadly. He sighed.
"Ok. What about telling them you're gonna take up a shift at slushes," he said and I smiled.
"Okay. That could work," I answered and he kissed me again and left."Oohhhhh!" Leah said poking me.
"Stop it," I said then my eyes met Darrien's. "I'll be right back." I walked up to him. "Hey."
"Hi" he responded.
"Sorry you lost the game," I said
"Are you?" He said bluntly.
"Dude it's just a game," I replied.
"For you. I bet if your precious boyfriend's team lost you wouldn't tell him it's just a game," he said angrily.
"What is your problem?" I asked now annoyed. He shook his head and turned to leave. "Are you serious. What do you want from me."
He stopped and turned around. He looked into my eyes and shook his head again then said, "absolutely nothing." Then he turned and walked away.
I walked back to my friends.I called my parents to tell them I'd be working at Slushes today to cover a shift for someone.
I walked to the side where Alexander's car was and he smiled at me as I walked to him. He held my hand and led me inside through a side door. We walked into a room which had a bed and a couch. I assumed this is where he stays when his dad is working late.
"Nice place," I joked. He laughed and turned to me. He looked at me and bit his lips. My heart began to race. He looked at me with hunger in his eyes and at that moment I realized what he meant by celebrating. I've never done this before. He's my first boyfriend.
He cupped my face and brought his lips to mine. We continued to kiss. He bit on my bottom lip causing me to feel tingles run through my spine. His kisses left my lips and found my neck. I felt my knees become weak at his touch."You like that?" He whispered in my ear biting on my skin.
"Mhmmm," I moaned and he smiled causing me to moan once more.
"What's going on?" I heard Mr. Montique's voice say causing me and Alexander to jump apart.
"Dad. I—-aaaa," Alexander began
"Out. This is your third strike Ms. Gayle. You're fired!" Mr. Montique shouted and my heart fell. I turned and looked at Alexander with tears building up in my eyes.
"Dad come on. You don't have to fire her," Alexander begged.
"Out!" He shouted once more and walked quickly to the door. Alexander followed but then I heard, "not you." I looked back to see his dad blocking him. I walked quickly to the bus stop. I waited for ten minutes then the bus came.I opened the door quietly. I closed the door and turned around. I jumped realizing my dad was right before me.
"Why are you being so quite," he asked
"I—- I didn't know if you were sleeping," I lied.
He bought my response and began to turn around then he looked at me with anger.
"What's that?!" He asked and I looked at him confused.
