Leah, Taylor and I walked from the cafeteria and to my locker laughing and talking.
"See you guys made up," Darrien said as he leaned on my locker.
"Yeah we did," I answered smiling.
"We'll talk later," Leah said and they left me.
"Sup?" I asked him.
"Nothing much," he answered straightening in front of me.
"Okay. So why are you lay waiting me," I asked with a smile.
"Well. I'm just checking on our appointment for Wednesday," he said
"It's still intact," I said. We stood talking then my phone rang.

Me: hey
Alexander: hey! You're at school?
Me: yes I am
Alexander: wanna ditch?
Me: I can't.
Alexander: ok that's cool. Talk later
Me: ok

"Sorry about that," I said as I hung up.
"It's cool. So are you guys like, dating?" He asked
"I guess," I answered blushing at the thought. He nod.
"K," he answered vaguely.
"What?" I asked realizing his vagueness.
"Nothing. I'll catch up with you later," he said then disappeared.

It's Wednesday afternoon and I walked into a classroom that Darrien and I agreed to meet in.
"Hi, ready?" I said as I saw him sitting at a desk.
"Yes ma'am," he said and I laughed and sat beside him.
"So," I began and lectured him about algebra.
About half way in my phone vibrated and I looked down at it then up at Darrien.

"It's ok

"It's ok. We can do this some other time," he said. I smiled and hugged him.
"Thanks for understanding," I said and quickly packed my bag and rang to the front of the school.
I reached his car and climbed into the front seat. I looked around and realized he had another friend with a girl in the back seat.
"Hi," I said.
"Hey," they chorused.
"Hey," Alexander's deep voice said as he held my hand. I looked down at my hand and back to his eyes with a smile. He smiled at me then drove off.

Darrien's POV
I watched as she entered the car then it drove off. I let out a heavy sigh then walked to the bus stop.
"Hi," I heard and I turned to see Ashley.
"Hi," I answered.
"So.... do you have a girlfriend?" She said touching my shoulder.
"No I don't. What's it to you?" I asked looking at her as she flirted with me.
"I could fill that position," she said running her finger down my chest. I grabbed her hand and stopped her.
"I'm not looking," I said harshly. The bus came to a stop at my feet and I quickly marched in.

Brianna's POV
Alexander's car came to a stop outside McDonalds. We got out and walked inside.
"Want anything?" He asked turning to me.
"A smoothie," I answered.
"Nothing to eat?" He asked looking down at me.
"No. I have to go home and eat dinner or my parents might get suspicious," I answered
"Yeah true," he said with a smile and ordered two small smoothies.
We all sat at a booth. He sat beside me and his friend and his girlfriend sat on the other side.
Alexander turned and spoke to me. He asked about what I like and things I like to do. He also told me things about him. I looked down on my watch and realized it was now 5:00pm.
"Alex I really have to go," I said looking at him.
"Ok," he said and got up. "Brian, I'll come back for you guys." Then we walked to his car. When I climbed in he looked at me and smiled. Then he leaned in. 'OH MY GOSH! He's gonna kiss me.' My heart started to beat very fast and my hands started to sweat. 'My first kiss."
His soft lips met mine. He continued to kiss me and I lifted my hand and locked my fingers in his soft silky hair.

We parted and he looked at me with a smile

We parted and he looked at me with a smile. I blushed.
He started the car and drove me home.

I walked into the house with my chest pounding. I closed the door quietly and started to tip toe towards the stairs.
"Where have you been?" My dad's stern voice echoed in the house causing me to freeze in my step.  I slowly turned to face them.
"I was doing some extra work at school," I lied.
"So why didn't you inform us," he asked.
"I forgot," I lied once more.
"It's dinner time. Have a seat. Don't let it happen again," he said and I nod and walked to the table and sat.
I ate then went to my room.

I decided to text Darrien. I felt bad for leaving him when he needed my help.
