June 7

Raina

Location: Slateport City Orphanage

Date:June 7

I'm writing today's account in this book now since today's finally the day. The day I leave the orphanage.

I know that my father's out there somewhere. And I'll find him. I'm escaping out of here with my Pokemon, and all of the things from home that I was allowed to keep here. If Mom was still here, she'd be telling me to go out and see the world. I'll find Dad soon. Anyone can bet on it.

I sighed, closing my journal, and putting it away in my yellow one-strap bag which contained extra Poke Balls, clothes, some Poke Dollars, photos of me and Mom, and of course, Eevee and Mudkip, who were in their Poke Balls. Riolu looked at me expectantly. "Ready?" He nodded. I smiled, opening the window. We practiced this over and over about twenty times, but who's counting. The plan was pretty simple: Open the window, have Riolu jump down with a rope, climb down the rope, and then run for it. I didn't have to worry about anyone catching me. All the people who work at the orphanage are at a party in the cafeteria.

I tied one end of the rope to one of the bedposts and gave the other end to Riolu. My Pokemon jumped out of the window with the rope in his hand. As soon as Riolu yanked the rope, signaling that he was down, I grabbed my bag and climbed down. I cut the rope with my knife as Riolu jumped onto my shoulder and I started to run farther and farther away from the building. Good-bye orphanage, hello Hoenn.

Owen

Location: House near Route 101

I looked at Pete sprawled on the couch, snoring with a beer bottle in his hand. I grinned at my Aron, who grinned back at me. Those sleeping pills actually worked just like a Jigglypuff's song.

I quickly got to work, packing my blue messenger bag with my stuff. Clothes, Poke Balls, Berries, all of my savings (Fine, and also all of my stepdad's money he won from poker.), some photos, my Poke Balls containing my Torchic and Eevee, and Pokemon Food.

My Aron got onto my head as I opened the window in my room. I jumped out, closing the window behind me. Then, I put two fingers into my mouth and whistled. Of course, nothing happened immediately. Two minutes later, my Tropius landed in front of me, letting out a quiet cry.

I scratched his neck and got onto his back. "Hey, buddy. You ready to go?" The Grass- and Flying-Type nodded as he flapped his leafy green wings and started to fly farther and farther away from my house.

I felt like a huge weight was lifted off of my chest. Finally, after 5 terrible years, I'm actually free. I yawned, returning Aron into his Poke Ball and the found myself dozing off to sleep, snoring on Tropius.

Hey guys, OrigamiLantern here!

So, what do you think? I will be taking time off of Crimson and Aqua to write this. If you are interested, read my friend Myst's  book Patron Quadrilogy: The Legend Begins. And I need to show you this:

Raina -The person's point of view

Owen - Not in that person's point of view, but focusing on them for now

I hope this will be helpful for you. Anyhow, OrigamiLantern11, lights out!
