Donald Trump is a disgusting, racist man that only uses his platform to dehumanise black people for fighting for their lives, which may I add they shouldn't have to do. When he spoke about white people protesting to get a haircut and to get their nails done, he called them "very good people" even though they were armed and was spitting in police officers faces.
When he was speaking about black protesters who are still struggling for the right to live he labelled them, "thugs" and said, "when the looting starts, the shooting starts." Although, the looting was started by undercover policemen. The NYPD are the ones who have been looting stores, destroying their own cars and blocking the protesters from taking the subway so they could break curfews.
Was violence an issue when white people were killing black people and using their skin as furnitures and accessories? Was violence an issue when white people tied black people to the end of a car and drove till they had no skin left? Was violence an issue when they bombed black Wall Street, a place filled with intellectual, striving black people? Was violence an issue when white people hung black people, burnt their bodies as souvenirs in front of crowds of people like we are some animal showcase? Was violence an issue when white people bombed black churches with little kids inside? Nothing is peaceful about white people. They are the definition of violence.
Black. Lives. Matter. Blue lives do not. The badge that gives them the license to call them self an officer can easily come off. The uniform that they have now disgraced can easily come off. But black skin? I can't take my black skin off, I can't stop being black and I have no plans to.
Derek Chauvin is in police custody. A murderer is being protected by the police. He has not been arrested, simply because he is white. That is what we call white privilege. This cannot go on any longer because if it does many white police officers will walk these streets thinking they have the license to whatever they want without facing any consequences.
All lives do not matter. The all lives matter movement is a protest to a protest. The black lives movement is often misinterpreted that we are putting down other people's voices and stories. That is not the case. Black lives matter protest is simply for African Americans to say we have had enough of this racial injustice and we want to build a platform to express this pain and intense emotions.
We are not trying to say that other lives don't matter, we are just raising our voices. It's no doubt that everyone's life matter, we all bleed red. If you support the all lives matter movement and are protesting against the black lives matter movement, something is wrong with you mentally and you should ask yourself why am I like this? Why do I want to be the centre of attention? I can answer that for you. It's probably due to your ignorance that you cannot see, you have the privilege and the upbringing thinking you're superior to us when in reality you aren't. And you feel threatened because we are taking control back.
If you are not outraged. If you are not angry. If you are not upset over black people losing their lives to police officers who are supposed to protect us then you need to check yourself. Every day you can see on the news that there is a new person dead on the streets. Every day you see these families that can't even grieve for the death of their loved ones because they have no justice for their children. What are the excuses to justify taking their lives? Can you think of any? Me neither. And whatever lame excuse you make up, nothing justifies a murder of an innocent person.
You may not be black, but you can still feel what we feel. We are going to march until we can't stand no more.
